  • High Quality and Built for a Pro
Great Item. A huge step up from what I had before. The extra long cables are perfect. Easy to use, and I really like the on/off switch. Only two minor cons are that it tips over easy and it is really heavy. More importantly it starts dead batteries and I really like it. The case I probably won't use but If I was storing it the case would be nice. Right now I use this item 3 or 4 times a week. I suggest leaving it on a extension cord to keep it charged. It has built in over-charge protection so this will keep your battery topped off. If you are trying to decide between this and other models I would say get this one. I'm glad I spent a little more than I wanted, this jump starter is amazing. This is my 3rd one and I use it all the time instead of my little lithium one. If you do roadside, or work on cars/trucks this is the way to go. BTW this has a so so warranty, but they discount your first service a lot. The manufacturer also emails you reminders to charge it which is great. ... show more

  • Lots of amps
This thing jumps my Prius. I've had battery problems because I don't use my car much. I had a guy come jump my Prius with a package that works great on 'vanilla' cars, but the Prius wasn't impressed. I ended up at the dealership for half a day and spending around $100. There've been a couple incidents since I bought this, and it's brought the Prius back to life quickly and reliably. Heavy to carry around (lead acid version), but it's worth the trouble -- works good. Real good. The Prius, BTW, won't do anything at all when the 12v battery's dead. Even the door handles don't work (except the driver door, with the metal key). It's an electric car with an internal combustion boost. ... show more

  • Plenty of juice on this charger!
Purchased this in Oct 2016. Never had to use it till now. (Every 3 months I plug it in to recharge and within 30-60 minutes when I check it, it blinks charged. I then umplug it, and throw it back into my SUV. Anyways...I left the trunk open on my wife's Lexus for 7 days, so the battery went dead, totally. I purchased one of those new compact digital chargers ($100 on amazon) to keep in the wife's sedan just in case she needed to jump start her car. Well...that digital charger doesn't charge a totally dead battery! So I grab my Jump N Carry from my truck, hook it up, turn it on. The reading says 12.3 Volts. I leave it connected for a minute then I turn on the Lexus...BAM!! it starts right up!! This unit might be a heavy bad-boy (cuz of the lead acid battery) but it works great! (Maybe those digital ion-whatever lil compact chargers only work with batteries that still have enough juice to light up the interior or run a radio in a car. But from a completely dead one, forget it!) ... show more

  • Solid, dependable charger that will do what it's suposed to!
I purchased this unit to keep in my truck for personal use, since I hadn't replaced my battery yet and it was starting to die out. I charged for 3 days continuously and left it unplugged for two weeks, at which time my battery died. It worked well especially considering it had not been charged in a long time prior. With the same charge I jumped two additional cars in the parking lot of my job, without having to use another one or leave it charging again. The charge on it lasts a very long time and all the features like the flash lights and compressor work well also. ... show more

  • So far, so good!
So far, I'm happy with it. I haven't used it to jump myself (or anyone) off but I suspect it'll do just fine. It's looks like the model that a AAA guy had when he jumped me off. My truck immediately turned over once it was connected. I was pleasantly surprised to know that it was 'full' (fully charged) after I waited about 3 weeks to plug it up. I had forgotten that it has a light on it in case you need it at night. It has 2 USB ports to charge devices with, and it can help you maintain the memory for your vehicle if you are changing out your battery. Seems to be dead simple to use. Per the instructions, connect the red cable to the positive battery post and the black cable to a non-moving metal part of the vehicle (not the negative post of the battery). I'm not worried about my battery dying on me again (like it did one night... not sure what happened, especially when the battery was less than 6 months old at the time). ... show more

  • I absolutely love the digital display
I do Light Emergency Roadside Assistance and my JNC 770 is truly a workhorse. Jumps absolutely dead batteries in the cold with no problem. I have used it 6 or more times on a single charge. When I do charge it with my inverter box in my truck, it takes only minutes until the display reads FUL. I absolutely love the digital display. When I hook up to a customer's vehicle, the digital readout shows the present voltage in the battery. After starting the vehicle, the digital readout displays the actual output from the alternator. You can't go wrong with the JNC 770 if you want to get the job done. I am a very satisfied customer and I was NOT compensated for my review. This is just the truth. I have used it for about three weeks on the job and so far, its performance is excellent. ... show more

  • Was a great product for a couple months
This thing was great when I first got it. Took it out to jump my plow truck and the box was completely dead. This was odd since it was left on the charger as recommended. I went and plugged in and it had error code and would not charge, error code read full charge but gauge display said 7.2 it would not recharge. Now the unit is complete dead and will not take any sort of charge. I have reached out to company but not covered as it was a month outside the warranty and I would have to pay shipping to send back and have it looked at and cover repairs. ... show more
