Outside this range, dehumidification efficiency will drop significantly. How can I get the best dehumidification performance from my small dehumidifier? Use it in a small, enclosed room at 68°F–86°F (20°C–30°C) with doors and windows closed. Use a fan to improve air circulation, and keep at least 8" (20 cm) of clearance around the unit. Why does the dehumidifier stop working? If the ambient temperature is below the operating range, the dehumidifier may frost over or fail to start. Use the unit within the recommended temperature range for proper operation.

    • Terrible choice
Total waste of money. I bought it for a small bedroom 10 x 12. The humidity level in the room was 70% when I started the machine. It's been running for 3 days and the lowest it gotten the humidity level to is 60%. Useless.

I feel like an idiot for not buying one sooner. I have a bathroom with no ventilation and moisture is a real problem. This little machine sucked the moisture right out of the air. The first day I set it up there was no water collected because we had not used that particular bathroom for bathing/showering. I decided to try it out today and took a long, hot bath. I emerged to find the mirrors were not foggy and the walls were not moist. I opened the water collection tray and there it was...all the water it pulled from the air. And, there was no need to empty it yet, it had plenty of room for collecting more water. This thing is super effective. It is quiet, small, and lightweight. Just attach the power cord, insert the collection tray, and it's ready to go. It easily fits on my small bathroom counter. Make sure you READ the instructions for how to turn it on. One button press turns on the power. Do not stop there. The SECOND button press turns on the dehumidifier feature. There is also an 'economy' feature which is another button press so you can basically decide between having on high or low. ... show more

    • Cannot turn off bright light!!
If you don’t want a bright light in your bedroom don’t buy this! There is no way to turn the light off! However the customer service is outstanding if you have a problem.

Wow!! I was tired of the mold in my shower and bought this. I’ve been using about 2 weeks and it’s producing so much water…I’ll be able to report on the mold later. But it should decrease, plus I’m using hydrogen peroxide which actually kills the spores. Not bleach….

I have the 30 oz unit. It lowers the humidity effectively in a 5ft x 5ft closet (door closed) by a few percent from the adjacent bedroom. Doesn't heat the closet up much, if at all. I have been monitoring it with a temperature and humidity sensor for a couple of weeks. The adjacent bedroom's humidity range was 45-60% during testing. ... show more
