  • Difficult, upright, tall, but sturdy and slim.
As advertised, this is a very narrow car seat. We were able to get two and pair with our britax bsafe35 elite or Graco 4ever extend2fit as three across combinations. However, I did not realize how tall the seats would be in our vehicle. With three across, it essentially cuts off all of our views. There is very little we can see through the rear view and there is no way to see blind spots. Of course, we cannot see the children either. This could just be our experience in our 2008 Nissan pathfinder, though. I also found this very difficult to install with either the belt or the latch system because you have to remove the seat (like where the child’s butt sits) in order to lock down the latch or seat belt strap, and then click it back in to place once secured against the vehicle seat. And we had to run the latch through the first time ourselves. When not in use, the latch hooks are meant to store under the seat and it is difficult to figure out how to puzzle it in there. There is also not much recline to the seat, and I’m 95% sure it’s installed correctly. It’s very upright in position. Which allows more space for the front seat, but I always worry about my toddler’s head falling forward if they fall asleep. So that’s unfortunate. It is a very sturdy seat, though. Simple in design aside from the issues I mentioned here. It is lacking convenience features like a simpler to use latch system, no re thread harness, and machine washable material. For the price, it would have been nice to see those things. TL;DR - good niche car seat if you need a narrow car seat, although you might want to try one before investing in multiples. Does have some complications. ... show more

  • Safety over price!
We were involved in a head on collision totaling our vehicle. Many were injured except for our 20 month old who walked away without a scratch. Can’t say enough about the quality of this seat. Not the cheapest nor maybe the easiest to install but with my child in it I have 100% confidence in the seat protecting my little one. ... show more

  • Requires 36 inches between rows for rear facing
I will start with the cons of this car seat: I installed this in the backseat of my 2016 Chevy Cruze (standard four door car) and determined that I would lose my passenger seat entirely (or driver's seat) if I installed this car seat rear-facing. This car seat may very well be the skinniest on the market and allow three across, BUT BE WARNED!!! If you are trying to install one or more rear-facing in a standard size car, the passenger or driver in front will NOT be able to fit. Essentially, if you put it behind the passenger seat, then any grown adult wouldn't be able to fit there. Here are the pros: if you have a large car (thinking full sized SUV or van) it will most likely fit no problem. It installs fairly easily and is VERY secure when installed correctly. I managed to install it so that there was practically no wiggle or give with the anti-rebound bar in the rear-facing position. I'd say this car seat would last a long time and be very safe in the event of a collision. Unfortunately, it just doesn't fit in our car to justify the purchase and price. Also, it's very spartan looking with not a lot of extra pads or cushions, so keep that in mind if you want a little "fluff" for your child. We are buying the Britax One4Life instead. ... show more
