These are typical Costa quality but the reader/cheater lens aspect takes them to a whole new level for my aging eyes. I can see how the reader lens may not be placed in the optimum position for some, but they are perfect for my face. The cheat magnifying glass feature is nice but the sunglasses is too big so the magnifying lens is located too low which I cannot see through it without lifting the sunglasses up by one hand.

Awesome. I use these daily. Sometimes even inside when I don’t have my reading glasses. I am currently writing this review with them on. The lenses are well made. They have the reading part at the bottom embedded into the lenses. The rest of the lenses are like wearing regular Costas. After considerable research I decided to purchase Costa C-Mates. I was disappointed none of the top sunglass manufacturers make sunglass that have readers with a glass lens. However when I learned that Costa makes their 580P with readers I could not wait to buy. I am very pleased as they have great clarity, readers are deep enough that they do not interfere with walking/hiking (nothing worse that stumbling in a river), and fit perfectly. ... show more

Love Costa sunglasses. This is my fourth pair and the only reason the other ones didn’t last forever was either I lost them or broke them doing something dumb. No fault of the glasses. Unfortunately I’ve tried everything I can to make this pair work and one of the lenses simply will not stop fogging up. I’ve tried sprays, dishwashing soap and lots of other methods. No luck. I now think there is some kind of flaw in the lens itself and maybe that is why they were so cheap. I should have returned them when I could but the return window has closed. Oh well. These glasses are awesome! No more carrying my readers on the boat, hunting, or to the ball game. I can tie a hook wearing my sunglasses by simply looking down. The bifocal sections don't get in the way of your distance vision either. A must buy for us older sportsman.

The description does not say these glasses are READERS, like bifocals . Thought they made a mistake shipping so I reordered and was shipped another pair of readers. Where on the description does it say anything about readers?
