The power litter box which we named Star Gate works great. Our older cat started using Star Gate the same day after set-up. Our youngest cat needed about five day. Our youngest cat is very fascinated with Star Gate which I have setup to self clean after 20 minutes. She wants to play with it at this time so Star Gate stops when she puts her paws 🐾 on it then it starts again when she leaves it alone. That will change with time.     • Works Like I hoped!
My cat uses her litter box quite often, and with it being in our home office, it was pretty nasty and smelly. Plus she would track litter out of it, and if it wasnt cleaned exactly when she wanted, she would make quite the scene, as well as track some out of the box. I was giddy when this new auto litter box arrived. It was super easy to put together, set up the app and make ready to go. My cat was curious, but started using it immediatly. There is absolutly NO smell left after it self-cleans. Taking out the litter liner is an easy, clean job. I was worried it would stop working when I wi-fi went out for a day, but that wasn't an issue. The instructions are a bit hard to understand, yet, I figured it out. When putting in the original litter, I used only 1 small bag from the Scoop Away brand. Put too much in, and it will be wasted when box does the cleaning spin. We just add a scoop or two every couple weeks when it looks like it is getting low. The app has never shown it low, so I don't know how low the litter can go before the app notifies. All in all, after 3 months, I am still completely giddy about how easy this is. ... show more

The litter box works great. We purchased this after adding a 4th cat to our home. I know crazy cat lady. So far only the kitten is willing to use the box. I did leave one of the old litter boxes in place hoping they would try this one out. I have finally taken away the old box and hope they will start to use the new automatic one. The product came already put together and ready to go. It is quite big, so make sure you have a decent space for it and for the sliding litter tray to come out. I have 4 cats and they all adjusted easily to it. With having the amount of cats that we do, we have to empty out twice a day. It is still WAY better than the traditional litter boxes we were using. You can set it up to clean a certain amount of minutes after the cat leaves. If a cat goes in while it’s cleaning IT DOES STOP. I was worried about my smaller cat going in and getting hurt, but it does stop. The smell is only there right after they use the restroom. Other than that, when it starts cleaning and deodorizing, you would not know it’s there. I have had this litter box for about 2 weeks. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because it is hard to clean the inside since it is so big. It does come apart and that helps tremendously, it’s just something I have to figure. There’s pros and cons. I love that I don’t have to constantly scoop the litter. I have 3 cats so it makes life so much easier. It has reduced the smell significantly! Makes things easier when traveling for a few days as well. My cats adjusted to the litter box pretty easily, less accidents outside of the litter box which is a huge plus! I spend less money on litter as well not having to constantly buy new litter which is wonderful. What I don’t love is that the litter gets trapped on the sides of the litter box when rotating. (I still haven’t figured out how to clean out the trapped litter.) The poop also smears on the sides sometimes when it’s rotating to clean it out which can start to make it smell. The litter box itself is awkwardly huge! I don’t like how it’s rounded out because it’s hard to find a place to fit it nicely. Also starting to have issues with the litter box turning off and on constantly after having it for 5 months. Not sure what the issue is but I hope that I don’t have to invest in a new one because it sure wasn’t cheap. It has its quirks but overall has made life easier. ... show more
