I spent a lot of time going back and forth between knife cases and I am glad I settled on this bag. The fabric is heavy duty and feels like it will last for years and years. The knife storage is exceptional. The largest knife it holds is a 270mm Yanagi, 19” overall length. The elastic straps are nice to keep knives from shifting. There are plenty of slots for smaller tools and some mesh pockets for other items. The rest of the bag has tons of space. The biggest compartment has two sleeves for a laptop and tablet or notebook plus plenty of space for a chef coat and a spare. It is up against the back so there is some thick mesh padding and another hidden pocket. The compartment in front of the tools is large enough for a pad folio. I keep mine there because I think it offers a little extra padding for knives. There are a couple smaller pockets on the front that are perfect for thermometers, pens, pencils, small notebooks, etc. Some reviews mentioned poor zipper quality. The zippers on my bag are just fine. I like that they are sewn with the flat side out to help prevent snagging. Don’t waste your time like I did and go ahead and buy this bag. You won’t be disappointed.

I love this bag. It was a replacement for an "over the shoulder" bag. It has good capacity. It is a little tight on space, but I can comfortably carry a good supply of my knives. It is able to be worn tight against the back and chest to minimize backpain. I love the small pockets for my little doodads... A great bag......

Way to expensive for the quality, I didn't use it much, before the seams started to come undone where the zipper connect, the zipper also has gaps resulting in the Is paracourt to come loose.

So I bought this bad two years ago and I thought it was a great bag. It’s has space for all my culinary equipment and my laptop. It has been a decent bag until about six months ago I began to have some issues. My zippers which were butter smooth began to not hold up under the weight of the bag. If the compression straps are not locked the compartment would open up exposing my laptop to the elements. So I grabbed my pliers and went to work fixing the zipper. Well this was not the end of my woes. Since then several other zipper tracks have come constantly unaligned. What I once that was a strength, good zipper pulls has become weakness. There are some opportunities to make this bag the standard in the industry, however presently I will have to switch back to carrying a separate knife roll and laptop bag.

The media could not be loaded. Front pocket placement, interferes with zipping front bottom pocket. Back panel should unzip fully like knife pocket panels. All in all I love the bag. Definitely has room for improvement, in design of panel layouts.

The media could not be loaded. Previously bought a Chef Sac and saw they had this new one and said to myself that it's time for an upgrade! Glad I picked this bad boy up. The tactical knife backpack does the job and looks f-ing awesome! Bigger than my other Chef Sac so I could carry more - my knives, tools, apron, laptop, tablet, pretty much anything and everything. Easily fits a 12" knife so if you have a longer blade, this bag is for you. The design caught my attention and my crew approves. Got a few mates hooked on this backpack as well haha. Quality wise, this backpack is very tough and well built. If its anything like their other products, I have no doubt this will hold up. Really happy with how I can fit everything in one place now, feel like Rambo with this on my back!
