I use this for my VERY SHORT HAIR!!!! It really is super easy because it’s a matter of mixing all ingredients in the little included dish, plopping it on the top of my head, rubbing it in and setting the timer for 10-15 minutes. I am 60 with naturally black hair with an exception...my hair is white at the (traditionally male) sideburn area. I was thinking of shaving even as no where else shows any signs of grey nor white. I didn't want to dye my whole head of hair just for these couple spots so I decided to try this product. I t worked perfectly! I used just a smidgen of the color and activator and applied. I've used the Nice and Easy hair dye product for year to cover grays. This touch up product of theirs is easy to use and always blends in well. Actually there's enough of the touch up product to just about cover my whole head, not just root touch ups.

This product is so easy to use. The box comes with instructions and everything you need, including gloves! Just squeeze the 2 products together into the plastic bowl and mix. The brush applicator makes it easy to work the color creme into your roots and around your temples. My grays are stubborn, so I leave the color in for 15+ minutes, and all my roots come out looking beautiful, black and so shiny after I wash and dry my hair. For those wondering, the color does come out in the tub when you're washing the color off, but it's easy to rinse away. I lay trash bags over my bathroom sink and counter while I'm coloring to protect from accidental drips, but it's almost not necessary because the product clings really well to the brush, so there's no splattering. This is the first at-home hair coloring product that has worked for me. I have tried one or two other products before that didn't cover my grays. This coverage is excellent! Since I have to touch up my roots every 5-6 weeks, now instead of going to the salon and spending $70-$90, I only spend $7, and with the savings, I can pamper myself with salon highlights, a professional cut or a mani-pedi!
