Better than I anticipated! The color is deep rich wine red. I was afraid it might turn out too magenta. This is very bright but also deep intense color. I don't know why this stuff isn't in stores as its really good and I've bought a lot of burgundy and plum dyes. I've washed my hair about 20 times now and I feel like it just keeps getting brighter. The hair dye has a great smell not strong at all, and the mask leaves the hair super soft. However it doesn’t cover the hair evenly. I was left with some areas red others the other color I had.

The instructions a semi-clear. Only to the point that you need to shampoo then put stage 3 on. As a person dying their hair for the first time I would of like to know that.

I usually use black cherry night violet but see this color and was curious. All the other box dyes that claim they’re black dye have only darkened my nature. BUT THIS BOX RIGHT HERE… hair looks black.. surprisingly natural looking black and when out in the sun you can see almost like a shimmer of purple. ... show more

Seriously upset and disappointed in this hair color. Applied it today (11/9/23) after having not colored my hair in over 7 months. Had a solid 3in of my natural new growth that had come in. When applying this, it was easy. Appeared to be the correct color. The tube color matched the box number (color code). However. After applying all over the PROPER WAY. Leaving it to process for the recommended 30 minutes, I washed it out only to be blown away by the after color. I'm a natural dirty blonde. My previous colored hair was a faded copper red. After applying this one (in the color Auburn), my hair had a VERY STRONG purple hue to it. NOT red like it was supposed to be. It was also EXTREMELY dark compared to the color shown on the box. Yes, I'm well aware that my hair wasn't going to be exactly the color on the box since my hair has been previously colored though the years. However, there's still no reason why my new growth should've turned that particular dark and purple hued color. I honestly wouldn't recommend purchasing this option unless you're prepared to get a vastly different color. First Pic was my before (2.5 months ago). 2nd Pic is after coloring with this product. 3rd Pic is the potential color as per the box. 4th Pic is AFTER using Loreal Effasol to remove some of the dark/purple hues. ... show more
