I really liked this vacuum for our above ground pool. However, I went through 3 this summer due to the pole breaking each and every time while I would be pushing it along under water. I was super skeptical about this vacuum. It feels cheap and kind of looks like a nerf gun 😂 I had to have my husband click on the part that attaches to the mesh bag - I wasn't strong enough nor was I sure it was supposed to be that difficult (no directions came with and the ones on amazing are not great). The handle is short - I did not account for this so I did have to go in the pool at one point. I wish they made the handle go up to 60 inches but I understand this is for small pools (mine is 14ft round and 3.5 ft deep). Regardless of those minor shortcomings, this dang thing works really well! I was very surprised at the auction power. It has no issues with the little debris pieces or a clump of leaves! For $20 some odd dollars, I am genuinely impressed with it. Who's to say how long it'll last but as anything, treat it well and it should last a long time! It's still super cheesy but overall I would recommend for a smaller above ground pool. Heck, if you're willing to get in the pool, use it for any size, but you'll probably be a while 😁. ... show more

I had one of these in the past so I knew what i was getting, having tied several other hose/water powered pool vacuums' this one has the best suction, I have even turned it upside down and used it as a skimmer while vacuuming. They had the best price and i got it very quickly.

There is nothing I like about this, the way it’s made, very difficult to use. It’s pure plastic, the handle is not long enough and does not reach in the center even if standing on a ladder and it does not lock into place. Therefore, it’s very short.
