Let me tell you that I have been using this cookware for a year now and let me preface this by admitting I still have an old coil burner stove top (stop snickering) which I used stainless steel NON stick for 20 years. It was time for an updated replacement. Before spending a lot of money, I purchased different kinds of cookware pieces to try them out. For instance, non stick cast iron, hard anodized, plain stainless, and stuff like Tfal. I demand stay cool handles (if you have ever burned your hand on a lid, you understand). Hated them all! Too heavy, unbalanced, food stuck regardless, outside stained (especially true with hard anodized) blah blah blah. So I decided to go back to non stick stainless and it was a struggle to find what I wanted until I decided on this set. I was scared at first when I purchased the 2 qt with lid and saw the circles on the bottom thinking "this is going to stick" but it did not. The sauce pans have a pouring spout and I was again doubting they would work properly when you need a tight fitting lid for things like rice-I was wrong. It cooks perfectly. They are well balanced, durable and will take a beating, have stay cool handles, oven safe up to 400, non stick, and clean up is a breeze (in my opinion you should never have to put non stick cookware in the dishwasher). Let me point out that the 1 QT saucepan and 11 1/2" skillet do not have lids but I just saved the ones from my old set and they fit perfectly. If you are a non stick stainless freak like I am I highly recommend this set. BTW on occasion I have used used my metal cooking utensils and has not hurt a thing.     • Best cookware set I have ever owned, hands down!
Style: Cookware Set (11 Piece)
Ever since I bought this cookware set, I have been impressed at how easy they are to clean. While the manual states that they are dishwasher safe, it also suggests that they will have a longer life if washed by hand. So most of the time I hand wash them (again very quick and easy), but sometimes I toss them in the dishwasher (very rarely), especially if I am short on time. Even if they have set out overnight because I was too tired to clean them, they still are a breeze to wash by hand the next day. However, what really prompted me to write this review was an incident I had recently with my saucepan. I was making Pad Thai for supper and around lunchtime I decided to make the sauce ahead of time (one less thing to do at suppertime). I had taken it off the burner but after it cooled off some, I decided it wasn't quite thick enough. So I put it back on on medium low for a few minutes. I had intended to keep an eye on it, but my ADD brain got distracted and I forgot about it. I was hungry and made myself some lunch. Then I decided it would be a great idea to eat it in the living room and watch some TV. Well, about halfway through a one hour show, I became aware of an odd smell. After a few seconds, my brain deciphered it as the smell of something burning. About that time I looked toward the kitchen and saw smoke billowing out and into the living room. Then all the smoke alarms in the house went off. It was at this moment that I realized I had left the sauce on the burner and forgotten about it. I got up and ran to the kitchen to find that my sauce had become something resembling charcoal. I quickly got it off the burner and turned the stove off. I had left a rubber spatula in it I that had been using to stir it. It was melted. I thought for sure I had ruined my saucepan. After I turned the fan on over the stove and opened every door and window in the house, I waited for the smoke alarms to stop going off. By then, the pan had cooled off enough for me to see what I could do, if anything, to salvage my pan. I grabbed a dirty utensil from the sink and tried to pry up the burnt mess. To my surprise, it broke up and most of it came loose and was easily removed. Underneath it, the pan looked exactly like it did before. There were a few pieces that stuck and I had to scrub a little to get them off, but otherwise the pan looked as good as new! Sadly, I have done this sort of thing before, and every other time I ruined the pan. No amount of scrubbing could get all the burnt stuff off. Ultimately, I ended up throwing them away. But after I got the last of the stubborn stuff off, no one would ever know it had been so badly burned on. I apologize for the long-winded review, but I felt this story needed to be told.     • Great set. Great value.
Style: Cookware Set (11 Piece)
I was worried because even the most expensive pans have a lot of negative reviews, but after reading the reviews for these, I decided to take a chance. The pans are beautiful, beautifully made, great design, great weight, nothing sticks and they clean easily. I love the see through lids, and all the handles don't get too hot. They seem to be very durable. I haven't used all of them yet, but have put a few through their paces. I am careful not to scratch them, keep the heat a medium or below, and I clean them by hand since it is so easy. I hope they hold up over time. I am really happy with them, would recommend them, and buy them again. ... show more

    • Love Non-Stick Stainless Steel – No Aluminum Ingestion when Non-Stick is Scratched Through

I don’t know if the following is true or not. But, I’d rather be safe than sorry. Alzheimer’s didn’t exist not all that long ago. It has been tied to aluminum ingestion. I take an Alpha Lipoic Acid supplement to remove heavy metals, including aluminum, from my brain. The last thing I want to go is my brain. Also, I love the Circulon brand. Nowadays, it doesn’t cost much more than brands like T-fal. But, it lasts a lot longer. This makes it cost a lot less in the long run. At the same time, it performs better.     • Good cooking but poor set contents
Style: Cookware Set (11 Piece)
This is a nice set of pans, and cooks well on an induction stove. But, it only comes with one regular saucepan and a small saucepan with no lid. Yet, it has 4 fry pans (3 rounded and 1 deeper one)! Most people need at least 3 saucepans (this set does not included a 3 qt. pan) and probably only 2-3 fry pans. Also, there are only 2 lid sizes. Three that are the same size and one smaller one. It would have been better to get 2 of the bigger lids and 1 small and 1 medium lid. The bigger ones can be shared among several pans, so no need to give us one for each same size pan. I bought this set over the Genesis set because it has handles that don't get hot. But the Genesis set has a better assortment of pans (and the small one has a lid!). To sum up, I think these pans are great (non-stick, easy-clean, induction suitable, cool handles, and attractive). I just wish the set was more functional. Be sure you know what you are getting in this set before you buy (the picture shows everything). You can buy separate extra pans, but the prices are very high. If you like a lot of fry pans, or don't need a whole set for induction cooking, then this set would be great for you! ... show more
