Gorgeous Quality and Trendy Cut (Runs Oversized)

This trench coat is both stylish and a little unique with all of the different shades, colors, and prints to choose from! Narrowing it down was actually the hardest part for me, but I ended up choosing the grey-checked pattern, which, in my opinion, looks a little more like a slate blue color. Either way, it's really nice. It's 100% polyester, and I know many people have strong feelings about purchasing anything polyester. I don't feel that way at all. In fact, I think it's perfect for a trench coat. It won't wrinkle easily, and it has that nylon feel on the outside which makes it water resistant. And, Cicy Bell didn't forget pockets (I have yet to meet a woman who doesn't love pockets!) and these are nice and deep and would fit a travel-sized umbrella and/or rain hat perfectly. A quick note on sizing: the measurements and the description point to this being a "Loose Fit Straight Outerwear," which is spot on. Even with that note I ordered a large, rather than trust their size chart. It fits fine, but it's definitely oversized. Their size guide is accurate, and if I had followed it, the medium would have probably fit a little better. At the time, I thought the larger size would be better if I was wearing a sweater underneath. That's true, but I think it's also true that the medium would've had the room for a sweater, too. So, if you prefer a more tailored look, you may want to consider sizing down. That said, this also isn't so oversized that it's swallowing me up, and oversized is still on trend, so it wouldn't be something I would return; I just wanted to mention the size so you can make a decision based on how you like your clothes to fit. About the brand, I have multiple pieces of Cicy Bell clothes in my wardrobe now. In fact, it's a bit chilly today, so right now I'm wearing a light cardigan I bought quite a while back - at least a year ago. It's one of my favorite go-to layering pieces. Even after at least a year of wear and wash, it still looks great. No pilling, no shrinking, no issues at all. I think Cicy Bell is an excellent brand. They have a lot of different styles to choose from, from tees to sweaters, dresses and denim. They're really nice clothes for the price. My husband and I are going on a trip to Europe for almost a month this fall. It will still be warm where we're going, but the nights will be cooler, so this is definitely going in my suitcase. I think it's perfect! I'm trying so hard to pack light, so weighing only 1.5 lbs is perfect. I love all of the different colors and prints this comes in. Classic, light and versatile summer coat that fits in just about everywhere!

All of my coats are typically heavy-weight winter coats and I needed something lighter and versatile for summer. I've been wearing this plaid coat for a week or so now, and it's become one of my favorites - from work to weekend errands. The loose fit is very comfortable - I can wear it over sweaters without any bulk, and it doesn't cling awkwardly like some jackets do. The cut is flattering in that understated way that just works with almost anything in my closet. The plaid pattern in these warm tones hits differently than the typical fall coat. It has a classic look and feel so that I don't feel like I'm chasing a trend, but the color palette keeps it from feeling dated. The wide lapels give off that polished vibe without requiring me to overthink my outfit, and the single-breasted button closure keeps things looking streamlined. The lining detail is very nice and rolling up the sleeves to see that contrasting fabric inside makes me feel like I'm wearing something with actual thought put into it. It's a small touch, but it changes the whole feel of the piece. The mid-length works perfectly for my frame - not too short, not swallowing me whole. (I am 5'6m 138#, as a reference point The construction feels sturdy, and it's holding up well through regular wear. I've thrown this on with everything from tailored pants and a button-up for meetings to my favorite jeans and a basic tee for running around town. It transitions seamlessly between those spaces.For the price, I'm definitely getting my money's worth out of this one. It's the coat I reach for first. Highly recommended...!

Versatile lighweight coat

I ordered this Cicy Bell trench coat to add to my wardrobe as it looked like a versatile coat. I am 5’ 9” and 160 pounds and ordered the medium. I was contemplating ordering the large but am happy I didn’t. The coat is plenty roomy and I wish it was more form fitting. I was happy that the coat was machine washable but it still needed to be ironed after drying it. The lightweight coat has the feel of a raincoat which I wasn’t expecting. It is fairly well made and the pockets are deep which I like. The solid beige color is versatile and can pretty much be worn with anything. When I ordered this coat it was priced at $79.99 but it is now $39.99 which is much more reasonable for this item.

Great lightweight fall trench coat

I really like this long trench coat. I ordered the army green, and the plaid pattern has such a great fall look to it. It’s lightweight rather than bulky, which is exactly what I wanted since it makes layering easy depending on the weather. It looks cute with jeans and boots and definitely gives all the cozy fall vibes. The coat is lined, has large functional pockets, and the buttons feel secure and well attached. The quality is nice for the price. I ordered the Large and think I probably would have preferred the Medium for a more flattering fit. Since there’s no belt or drawstring to define the waist, it has a relaxed silhouette. If you like a more fitted look, I’d suggest sizing down. I’m looking forward to wearing this throughout the fall season.

Clean minimalist style; the fabric holds it back. It's quite long. Value is better at $40 than $80.

I went with the camel color for this single-breasted coat. The workmanship is good; even stitching, securely attached buttons, and clean lines that hang straight from the raglan shoulders. In terms of style and shape, it is minimalist and functions closer to a classic car coat or a traditional Macintosh coat than a military trench. Look at the classic flat collar, for example. The deliberately loose, un-tailored fit mimics high-end designer shapes like the Sézane Clyde or a Prada single-breasted canvas coat, making it a very trendy silhouette for a very small fraction of the price. The intentionally straight, shapeless drape looks great if you appreciate that specific aesthetic, though the overall length of this particular coat is too long on an average-height frame like mine. What ultimately holds this outerwear piece back is the polyester fabric. The material has a distinct plastic-like feel; it doesn’t breathe and wrinkles quite easily, which detracts from the classic look. On the positive side, the fabric feels like it will shed water well and keep you dry in a light drizzle, making it a functional choice for a quick commute. If you are looking for a sharp, budget-friendly designer dupe, are tall and don't mind a synthetic material, this could be a very stylish option. Value is too subjective to say. It was $40 more when I ordered it, so the price is a much better value at it’s current discounted price.

Classic, Polished, and Perfect for Fall!

This coat is such a beautiful addition to my fall and winter wardrobe! I love the classic plaid design—it has a timeless, slightly vintage look while still feeling very current and stylish. The relaxed fit is comfortable and gives plenty of room for layering a sweater underneath without looking bulky. Beautiful plaid trenchcoat

This trenchcoat is all of my trenchcoat dreams! I love the design the most because it looks so unique and retro. It gives fall vibes so easily. I love the material because it seems like good quality. The way it was made was well done and you can see the double lining in the inside of the coat and the thick stitching. I recommend sizing down because like most trenchcoats it has a big fit to it so I'm super happy I sized down for a less baggy fitting. My mom loves it so much that I'm thinking of ordering her one in another color.
