Ordered this gate to use in a high traffic area. It was delivered on 6/8, and the whole door popped off on 6/20. This baby gate does get high use in the space it was placed, but we have used others in the past that lasted us much longer. Great to save money, but you get what you pay for in durability.

seems reasonably well built. noted one can just lift gate at center easily without using handle.. swing it gently closed and it latches itself so that's a nice feature. decent looking and I like the door section is wider than a lot advertised.. not all of us fit the tiny openings.... hate to see a fully pregnant woman fit the the smaller other companies 'doors' I use a can so the wider door is good!

I did a lot of research on baby gates and don't understand why most gates are 2ft or shorter and have such a narrow door. This was the only gate with a wide door and is 2.5ft tall. I bought two of these gates for my two puppies and will never go back to using cheap gates! It is super quick and easy to install these sturdy gates. The vertical beams also prevent my puppies from climbing over the gate too. I highly recommend this gate to everyone with small children and dogs! 0789

I bought this for the top of my stairs to keep the pets from getting downstairs. This is a lifesaver, I had a puppy playpen fence and the gate is a huge upgrade. SUPER HIGH QUALITY!!! The gate also opens both ways which is nice when you have your hand full so you won't get stuck. Super sturdy as well, definitely worth the money and I will be buying a second one for the other stairs in my house.
