Things I like about this chair: It looks very nice. Clearly not real leather, but clean, classic styling and the nailhead trim give it a quality appearance. It is SO easy to assemble. I had it unboxed and fully assembled on my own in about 20 minutes. The fact that it doesn’t look like a recliner, but allows the option to push it back and have a place to rest your feet is a definite plus. Things I don’t like as much: It’s not a great, cozy comfy chair. The seat is firm and stiff, and I’m hoping it softens with use. The push-recline feature is not smooth or easy. It takes some real muscle to push it back. The foot-rest is short. It fits me well, but I’m only 5ft2in. Anyone taller will clearly have their legs/feet hanging off the end. Overall, I feel it meets my needs for the price point and I’m happy with how it looks in my space! ... show more

Chairs arrived promptly. Easy to assemble. The seat is firm but getting broke in nicely. Major complaint is that it won’t stay in a fully reclined position. I guess that’s what you get for what I paid. I’m a 6’ tall woman and the foot rest stops at my calves. I like the look of these chairs and will keep them. My husband and I have been looking for new chairs for our library room. We purchased two chairs. These chair's are exactly what we wanted and at a great price. I have to agree with some of the reviews, that the chair is uncomfortable, rigid to sit in at first. Don't let that scare you from buying this chair. After just a few days you'll start to notice the chair softening. We've only had the chair's a few days and already they are much more comfortable than the first day we used them. Chairs look great. Easy to assemble. Just don’t sit on them. Feels like sitting on a rock. Will see if they break in or we will send them back. Would never buy again.

The chair is very comfortable and nice. It is alittle bigger than average furniture, but still fits in. The only bad part was the footrest broke in half internally and would not hold weight. I took it apart, replaced the wood and reassembled. It had a cheap piece of plywood that cracked in the middle. The rest of the chair seems sturdy. ... show more
