Love this string tree! We have a dormer window that we can’t get to to put lights on it so this works perfectly. We have actually had 2 so we have been using it for a couple years now. My husband stepped on one of the strings and snapped it from the star. Totally our mistake. So we ordered a second one. It is bright and the colors are really pretty changing. The media could not be loaded. I shopped and shopped for a couple days to find the best scenario to create a lite tree using my 20’ flag pole. Theres tons of 7’ and 12’ with not many strands on them and not as bright. I bought 2 of these kits and zip tied them back to back. I had to modify it a little by removing the zip ties from one star so I can dip it to the other side of the star frame and recipe tying it. That way both the plugs would wind up on the same side of the tree so you can plug it in on cord with a split extension cord with 3 plugs ports. I was able to plug the two sets in and the snow flake projector for the front of the house. Our house is 360’ off the street and it is SO bright it laminates the yard and the trees. There’s several different settings. If you get 2 sets and do the same thing and the lights are blinking different speeds take one control in each hand and press the buttons down and hold them down at the same time. You will see the lights go out and release and they will come back on and be in sync. It’s like a reset. There are 24 strands total. Last but not least on the bottom of the star frame take a pliers and bend the frames in 1/2 circles. That way the fit around the black tooth disc that you have to buy for the top of the flag pole. Zip tie the frames to the disc. To keep them I. Place. You can leave the ball to the flag pole on. I changed the lights to just the colored straight lights because they are so bright when they are strobing or chasing it was such a distraction to the traffic going by that I wanted people to enjoy it and not get hurt driving by. Updated review lowered to one star. It stopped turning on entirely. Light turns green on switch but lights don’t turn on at all anymore. It’s lost three of its threads now in total and I just don’t want to get in the ladder and pull it all down and hassle with returning it. Can’t see a way to message seller to ask about it either. Just got this, started installing it and the fourth string just snapped off when we staked it in. And then today (the next day) went out and found another one snapped off. Still leaving it up just with two strands short I guess. But I don’t think it will last more than this season. A lot of work to put up and untangle at the longer length too, I’d buy the shorter one next time. ... show more

These are nice. A little difficult to install, definitely need two people. We also ended up needing to add some string to make the light strands long enough to reach the ground. The stated length of the lights is the power cord, but overall not a bad product.

I’m not typically one to write reviews but I’m stoked I found this. Most “flagpole Christmas trees” are pricier than I’d like to spend. This was reasonably priced and so far I love it, hoping it lasts the season. I zip tied the star to the top of my flagpole, and since mine is only about 19-20’ high, I staked the lights closer in and used the excess to connect them to each other at the bottom. They’re a nice warm white (my preference) and there’s a few different fun patterns. I have mine set to a twinkle. I plugged it into a long extension cord and a WiFi-based outlet on a schedule; they’ve turned on twinkling for two nights now. Great find! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. After reading some reviews I was able to apply lessons learned and was very careful unpacking and installing the lights to avoid tangles. Also left a generous amount of slack to avoid breakage during high winds. It’s been up for two weeks now during some wind gusts last night of 30+ MPH. That is what I was waiting for prior to giving a 5 star review. I love the lights and have received positive reactions from neighbors and family.
