Love this string tree! We have a dormer window that we can’t get to to put lights on it so this works perfectly. We have actually had 2 so we have been using it for a couple years now. My husband stepped on one of the strings and snapped it from the star. Totally our mistake. So we ordered a second one. It is bright and the colors are really pretty changing. You can choose the effect you want. It is a really nice tree and I would 100% recommend you getting one. ... show more

I was happy when this got delivered and saw how well it looked and felt. The lights were plenty long enough for the idea we had in mind and they are bright enough to see from the road. Timer is a nice feature it comes with, even though it wasn't originally a selling point for me. Plenty of places to mount the star and really does looks beautiful! Already recommending it to family and friends. May come back and update after snow sticks to see how it fairs! ... show more

I was making the strings taught and one pulled out, now the whole thing doesn’t work. I don’t feel I was pulling too hard. I’m super bummed.

Does everyone remember Christmas Vacation and Russ having to work on the "little knot here". That big ball of lights in the movie was nothing compared to how this thing came out of the box. These things were a tragedy that Shakespeare couldn't have written about. 12 lines of 23 feet each were wrapped with twist-ties... about 6 feet down. The top 6 feet was a tangled mess with the power cord weaving in and out of all of them. There was NO WAY to separate them without removing the twist-ties, and once you do that, it's all over anyway. The worst part is that I bought these lights on December 30th of last year, so they've been sitting in the box for a year, and I can't return them now. And overall, I was looking forward to putting these up for the whole year too. Now I'm not in the mood to decorate the rest of my house. The star has been snapped in several pieces and they are waiting for the next trash pick-up.... I just hope the garbage truck doesn's spit them back out. ... show more

These were the best money spent on WoW factor for the holidays! I read a lot of reviews and took my time unwinding each strand carefully- and placed it where it needed to go- one at a time. This made all the difference and I could totally understand others frustrations if they were in a rush- because I could see how they would get tangled. I secured each strand with a small board anchoring it (temporarily) and once I had them all fanned out, was able to place larger anchors on several at a time- which wasn’t the prettiest in the day, but at night- you didn’t see them at all. The lights were fantastic! I live near the water and we get a lot of wind, but none of the strands broke free. They swayed in the wind- but were fine. ... show more
