5.0 out of 5 stars | Saw this and had to have it
Size: 42mm, 44mm, 45mm
I am absolutely loving the Wristcam with my Apple Watch series 5. I saw someone with this and thought it was genius. After getting my hands on my Wristcam, I can emphatically say that genius is an understatement. I am with my family A LOT. One thing that I noticed since the pandemic, I didn't take a lot of pictures of the family. Now that we're starting to return to the new normal, I want to make up for it. It's so awesome to be able to take a picture in the moment WITHOUT UNLOCKING MY PHONE. Here's where it came in handy: 1. Taking a dinner photo with my kids. They are usually annoyed when I ask for a photo so every second counts. Start the Wristcam app on my watch and take a photo. Less than 3 seconds. The Camera App on my phone takes many more steps. 2. Take a photo of the lawn outside to remind myself that I need to apply fertilizer. Yes, I really did this today. 3. Record a video to myself to add something to the Shopping List since I didn't have a pen on me and was in the middle of something. I really appreciate the effort that Wristcam put into design: - The strap hardware is really well integrated with the Apple Watch design. It's obviously bigger than a normal watch strap, but not bulky, so I don't notice that it's there when I'm not using it. - It has its own battery, which means an extra charger, but the Wristcam charger has a complimentary profile so that it does not obstruct the Apple Watch charger, making it easier to charge both at the same time. - The software is visually beautiful and very intuitive. The onscreen guides help the user set all of their permissions so that the unit works seamlessly with the latest version iOS (14.6) and WatchOS (7.5). This is the best onboarding experience that I have seen. If you're looking for a fun and functional gadget to pair with your Apple Watch, you have to get the Wristcam.

2.0 out of 5 stars | I want this to work, but it doesn't
Size: 42mm, 44mm, 45mm
Overall it's a camera for your Apple Watch and it does take Videos and Photos. However the current tech readiness of the product is lacking and feels like an unfinished project: Good stuff: - Setup is relatively easy, menus mostly worked to guide you through the first-time setup - Video/Photo quality is decent for what it does - I'm happy with the ergonomics; it's hidden by my arm so I don't "feel" like it's bulky - Love the additional convenience of wearing a camera Bad Stuff - #1: Factory Reset function through the APP does not work. The screen asks "are you sure" but there's no way to tell it Yes. Bricked device warning if this doesn't work. - OTA firmware update failed several times due to Apple WiFi authorization issues with the APP. The APP pretends like it's handling the connection with the device but you actually have to manually connect to it through your WiFi list and quickly go back to the APP at the right time in the process. - Wristcam says "Live Video Messenger" all over the place in the sales literature but it's very weak on how you actually achieve this (apparently only between Watchcams?). For most users we'd want to live video chat with friends on an iPhone but you cannot do this with their messenger APP! It's just recording a video and attaching it to a message. THAT IS NOT "LIVE". I don't appreciate the dodgy overselling of this feature. - Their bug reporting system is poor; you'll get a message that you sent in a ticket but they don't include the content or a ticket number in the email. You have to log into your web version of the account. I submitted tickets for all these issues but still waiting for a response after a few days. - If you click on "WiFi" in the APP to connect to the camera it gives you the option to share WiFi credentials from your phone, but it doesn't work. You click it and nothing happens. Then, you keep getting messages to share WiFi credentials from iOS but it just doesn't. Maybe they're waiting for Apple approval on getting this permission? As a customer, it's half-finished. - I still cannot figure out exactly how to get photos off my watch when away from my phone. Does it send it over 4G? Do I have to plug the watch in to charge to turn AP mode on? Can I attach a photo/video to an email? I think I can send it over their messenger app to a contact, but only to a mobile number. At some point it shows up on my iPhone in the Gallery (if you click that option) but it's not clear how to force this replication action. Needs way better explanation. - With a silicone band like this, how do I buy spares? Not going to be happy with a $300 C-shaped camera in my pocket when the band breaks. Star rating will go down to 1 when that happens. I really, really want this to work. I'll gladly wait for future firmware updates but, you gotta fix the OTA process and make sure you can recover by getting Factory Reset to work! As someone who develops IoT consumer products you need that parachute ripcord to pull if needed; it's impossible to test absolutely every combination of cases enough times to be sure you don't bork it all up.

5.0 out of 5 stars | Awesome addition to my Apple Watch!
Size: 42mm, 44mm, 45mm
Received my Wristcam just in time for 4th of July weekend and could not have been more impressed. It came perfectly packaged, compact but with everything intact. The organization of the box and its contents were very “apple official” which makes it feel like you are getting the newest trendy toy but still something quality. Setup was super simple, taking only a few minutes to attach the band and sync with my iphone. I was curious how the band would feel (being that it is larger than the typical one I would use) but once adjusted to a comfortable position, it took no more than an hour for me to forget it was there. You will quickly realize that the cameras are positioned perfectly so that all you have to do is lift your wrist to snap a picture. I didn’t anticipate how much I would enjoy the convenience of not needing to take my phone out to snap a picture. Not having to put something down and use two hands is great! Especially at social functions, the beach and pool! Would definitely recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars | Fun accessory to add to your Apple Watch!
Size: 42mm, 44mm, 45mm
I was looking for something that I could use when I was active and or out doing fun activities and don't want to bust out my phone for or have to hold onto like a video camera. This wristcam lets me take pictures and videos on the go! and since its on my wrist, I don't have to fidget with my phone to take it out or put it away. It's kind of like having a mini go pro on your wrist at all times. The band itself is not bad. It's not small by any means, but it's not cumbersome either and you get used to it quite quickly. It's not heavy, it's very comfortable to wear. I highly suggest to anyone who is active but still wants to be able to take pictures and videos on the fly!!!
