The red and green light is very bright. You can control how fast the lights move. I set them slow so you don’t notice they are moving at first glance. The unit can be a good 20 feet away and the light dots cover around a 30 foot length on our home. The light dots are bright and crisp. I didn’t have to use the remote. After I set the speed, I let my own power timer run this and other lights for 12 hours. It keeps its memory so it starts back where it left off. You can make you place look like you hung traditional lights, but have them moving and have almost no set up. Just put the spike in the ground and aim the unit and you’re done. This feels very well made, not flimsy or plastic-y feeling. The included power cord is very long, and even has an optional USB cord to use instead if desired. The lights are very bright and clear and the projector has a bunch of different options to choose from, such as which color light or the speed of the light movements and a shut off timer is built in as well.     • Colors not what I expected. Points pretty far apart.

Default wasn’t all colors in star pattern. I put a time on it to control exact times. I didn’t try it’s timer to see if held programming. Colors not being what I expected turned me against it first.

The media could not be loaded. I like that this came with both a tripod and a stake, so I can really use it indoors or outdoors. The timer function on the remote is nice, and once you review the instructions, it's pretty easy to know how to switch between modes -- and there are more options than I even realized at first! I'm quite excited about this projector and I only wish I'd chosen to get one with more colors. But the red & green alone is quite fun to watch and you can also have it show just red or just green if you want to. I included a video that shows just a few of the different modes.
