Assembly only took about ten minutes with a friend. Instructions are easy to follow and, as with most pieces like this, waiting to tighten screws should come at the end of the process. They provide great privacy without being eyesores and the apartment complex has had no issue with their use due to their decorative nature. They’re too tall for the base, which is only two narrow feet on either side. Gusts up to 30mph cause them to rock and and fall, and winds up to 15mph have made them sway. They’ll need to be zip tied to the railing. The black finish does have minor damage showing the metal underneath, but not remotely significant. One particularly tight fit when sliding one partition into place caused paint to scrape off, but it’s negligible. The design allows me to hang plants with thinner hooks and, when zip tied, they cause me no concern regarding whether or not they’ll remain secure. I bought three, two to block one end of the patio with a break between the last one that limits light exposure for plants that need less sunlight. Very happy with these despite the foundational concerns as they are easily solved with zip ties. Update: Zip ties were the perfect solution. There is some minor rusting where the feet meet the frame, but it’s minimal. I anticipate it will get worse with time, but so far we’re holding up to heavy rain, some snow, and definitely some ice. The integrity hasn’t changed and they’re still sturdy and the pieces are snug. Still very happy I bought them, so despite the expense I am pleased with the purchase. Added some video of the wobbling from wind, as well as the final pic where they are zip tied and decorated with the staple apartment balcony lights. ... show more

The support braces are not enough to hold them securely in the ground!! I ended up drilling over the holes and purchased heavy steel, that's wider and 4in deeper. This unit can be top heavy in wind! Do not hang things from it as some photos show. It's pretty, not practical for outdoors.

This screen was easy to put together, and looks nice in my yard. It was the perfect size and provides the perfect blockage to hide the storage area behind my shed. The stakes that were included did not provide adequate stability on breezy days, but after installing some stabilizing posts on the rear of the screen, it has been much more sturdy. ... show more

These panels are nice. A little flimsy standing alone but they look nice and with a couple zip ties I connected two to give a little more stability. I noticed that after just a few months they are starting to rust. That’s very disappointing.

The panels are sturdy and very aesthically pleasing. However, they are AWFUL to put together. I purchased two of these and most of the holes did not line up correctly to get the bolts secured. On both units, the top panel is just resting in the frame.
