Haven't had these very long, but seem to be decent blinds. The slats close tightly and are easy to raise and lower and stay in place once set. Blinds are very good and plan to order a second pair. Packaging was very bad, held together with a lot of tape. Bracket box torn open, hold down bracket missing and one mountng bracket bent slightly out of shape. A returned item that was repackeged without consideration for resale.

We needed to replace sun-filtering blinds of a similar style that had gotten brittle and were snapping off. These blinds fit the bill. Mounting was relatively easy (using a screw gun). Note that all the different brands seem to have different mounting hardware with their own quirks, so we couldn’t use the old blinds’ mounts.     • I was looking for the cord to pull up the blinds (Doh !!)

I re-used some of the clips from the old binds to insert these blinds into. But they fit perfectly and I had them all up and installed when I started looking for the draw string to pull the blinds. Of course they don't have a draw string, silly boy. It is easy to raise, but... you have to be tall to push them all the way up. No draw string and that means that you need to be able to reach the 'top' of the blind to push the blind up all of the way. Fortunately, I am tall enough, but if you are of short stature, keep a step stool near by, otherwise that blind is only going part way up. ... show more
