We have 6 hens and they love this like coop. Very easy assembly, my husband and I completed it in about 2 hours. The only modification we made was added the same type of screen to the bottom so nothing would be able to dig under.

Nice product. Easy to assemble but not super sturdy, decided to use wood glue in addition to screws. Otherwise happy with the product apart from the nuisance of adding wood glue.

I just replaced our old backyard coop with this one. It’s so much stronger and well built than our last one. It is awesome for my little flock. We are only permitted to have 3 hens in our city. As for use as a chicken tractor, I don't believe this would hold up being moved around without modifications to strengthen it. It could work that way if support is added. I don’t intend on moving it. My girls are loving the covered outdoor space in the rain. They no longer have to stay inside when it gets wet. Perfect for 3-4 hens. ... show more

I chose this chicken coop because it has sliding coop door and wheels to move the coop. The design is poor- the sliding door won’t slide if there is any debris in the narrow slot on the floor. And guess what chicken do all the time? The wheels are small and it is hard to move the coop

So flimsy that the lid on the nesting boxes has already broken. The only thing holding the lid on is the lock. Wheels so small that the coop just drags, not roll.

Overall pretty happy with the coop. The wood is cheap and soft, but I figured it wasn’t going to be made of hardwood. Be careful when screwing the thing together so you don’t strip the screws out of the wood. I used a driver set at the lowest setting and still managed to strip a couple. It’ll take longer to assemble w a handheld screwdriver (the wood is soft enough) Still pretty solid-ish. I figure I’ll be reinforcing it as time goes on. The assembly instructions were pretty easy to follow. If you can assemble IKEA stuff you’re good. Take your time. It took me a couple hours + w a cold beer in one hand. ... show more
