Excellent purchase all the way around. I'm a 48 year old dad so the swivel makes things much easier. I will say it took a while to get everything situated in my 4runner but once set, you forget it. I'm very confident it would keep baby safe in a minor collision but I can't speak to anything severe. The seat is extremely adjustable in many ways and it is rather large but that speaks to it's durable build. I got the zip off as well which makes cleaning a breeze. The magnetic chest harness along with the female input being forced forward for easy access make it very simple and easy to use all day long. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this car seat. Absolutely worth the money. Hubby installed it and said it was easy. Super secure and very parent friendly to use. The one hand turn is smooth. The magnetic chest clip and the side holders are AWESOME. Cup holders are easily removed for cleaning. Tightening the harness is very easy and smooth. It practically glides when pulled. The button/tab to push to loosen the harness needs a bit of effort, but to me that feels safer than an easily pushed one. As I don't think it'll move on its own at all. I love the key insert tool to remove the seat from its base as well. Much safer than other brands (in my opinion). And one of the BEST parts, my baby doesn't cry AT ALL when put into it. Not even a whimper. He's very comfortable and the harness fits well. I like that not only does it come with shoulder pads, but also ones for the hips. Which is great cause I have a chunky baby. This is a very nice product, well thought-out. I wish there was the ability to recline with the seat already locked in. This car seat is big and heavy, not ideal for traveling. I drive a Chevy Avalanche, my childs feet touches the back of the front seat. Whoever is in the front passenger has to sit more upright and closet to the dash board to give baby leg room. I would imagine this seat fits well in a large Tahoe, suburban, Yukon, Lincoln, or anything alike. I love the seat though. This is the Cadillac if all rotating seats. ... show more

Checks all of the boxes. Well-engineered. Every function of this seat is easy and smooth EXCEPT the harness tensioner strap. the button to release it feels like you're going to break it when you push it in. Almost like it's already halfway pushed in before you try. ALSO, they should have made the base fabric stitching the same as the infant insert stitching with the Diamond Pattern. I love this car seat. I am a chicco stan- and this raises the bar. It's basically a perfected keyfit one fit. It has a similar design to the one fit but the padding is more plush/soft. I like the magnetic chest buckle and the little holders for the metal pieces that go into the crotch strap. I'm skeptical on using the mirror, I've heard of fires being caused with mirrors in general by the light reflecting intensely onto the car seat and burning it so I'll likely pass on that. Everything else is great. Very well built and my son loves it. The only knack is the recline feature, it's very hard to recline without making the base unlevel, this results in my son sitting much more straight up. He loves this but I am worried about him sleeping like that and his head dropping forward. ... show more
