  • Effective Fuel System Cleaner for Routine Maintenance
Size: 12 Fl Oz (Pack of 6) Style: 12 oz.
The Chevron Techron Concentrate Plus Fuel System Cleaner has become a staple in my car maintenance routine, particularly for my Kia Forte. Here's why I rate it 5 stars: Efficient Cleaning: I've been using this fuel system cleaner after every oil change, and it has consistently delivered excellent results. It effectively removes carbon deposits and other gunk from the fuel system, helping to maintain optimal engine performance. Enhanced Fuel Economy: One noticeable benefit of using this cleaner is the improvement in fuel economy. After each treatment, I've observed a slight increase in miles per gallon, which translates to long-term savings at the pump. Smooth Engine Operation: The cleaner promotes smoother engine operation by keeping fuel injectors and other components clean. I've noticed reduced engine hesitation and smoother acceleration, especially during highway driving. Easy to Use: The 12 oz. bottles are convenient to use, and the pack of 6 ensures that I always have an ample supply on hand for regular maintenance. The pour-spout design makes it easy to measure and dispense the cleaner without any mess. Trusted Brand: Chevron is a brand that I trust when it comes to automotive products, and the Techron Concentrate Plus Fuel System Cleaner lives up to its reputation. It's formulated with high-quality ingredients and is safe for use in all gasoline engines. Overall, the Chevron Techron Concentrate Plus Fuel System Cleaner is a must-have for anyone looking to maintain their vehicle's fuel system and improve overall performance. Whether you drive a Kia Forte or any other car, this cleaner is a valuable addition to your maintenance routine. ... show more

  • Clears the gas system clean.
Size: 20 Fl Oz (Pack of 6) Style: 20 oz.
Many years ago, a mechanic recommended this product as it works better than others. Ever since, I have kept using this product for over 30 years. Never have any issues with my fuel system. I typically store my cars in summer or winter. This maintains the fuel system during when the car is in storage or out. Never had any issues with freezing, fuel injectors. Easy to use and works well. Highly recommended. I even use it for lawn mowers, snowblowers, etc as well. Well worth the investment. ... show more

  • The best of the best
Size: 20 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) Style: 20 oz.
This is best. There is a reason my it's rated high. It really works. The first time I used it in, my gas tank,I noticed my engine light turned off, the engine runs a bit smoother, it doesn't fix the problem. This truck has over 210,000,I forgot to use this . My other vehicles ,I used this adative, never had any engine issues. In my opinion, I think this stuff is a bit better than Sea Foam. ... show more

  • Sometimes it's not broke - just dirty...
Size: 32 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) Style: 32 oz.
NOTE: If you are serious about buying this, see my caution below about putting it into your tank! I had a check engine light pop-up, and since I keep an OBD2 reader around, I went ahead and took a look. It came up as a low voltage in one the of 2 front O2 sensors. Given the number of miles on the truck, it wasn't a shocking thing at all - indeed, I had a full set of O2 sensors on hand for it already and just hadn't gotten around to it. After getting the apparently faulty unit swapped out, things were great - briefly - then the original error came back exactly as before. Intermittent problems = nasty to troubleshoot, so I did not have it resolved when a 2nd OBD2 error started being thrown - an issue with the fuel level sensor (a horror show to swap out if you have to do it). In investigating all the possibilities I got put onto running this stuff on at least 2 full tanks of gas. Since both issues were intermittent, it's hard to know if you *really* got the core issue resolved, but since things stuff first went in the tank, neither error has popped up again. Still too early to tell, but other owners of my model (an F-150 Ecoboost) frequently report noticeably improved fuel economy, so we'll see how that plays out. NOTE ABOUT PUTTING THIS IN THE TANK: I believe the sizes below the 32Oz I bought come with a nozzle built in that mimic's a fuel nozzle, so if you're ordering those sizes, you're probably fine, but keep in mind that this is a burnable, hazardous material. If it does not go in all the way (I would test it before breaking the seal), it will dump to the ground instead (a mechanical protection against people trying to sabotage your car by contaminating your fuel). For the 32Oz size or anything above that, you'll need to use a funnel or some purpose built attachment. There is a protective plate at the top of your gas receiver that is designed to only open when a specific size tube (matching an Unleaded fuel nozzle) is inserted. That plate will block your funnel from going in unless it is exactly that same size, which, since most funnels are tapered, it is unlikely size up correctly unless it is specifically built with fuel tanks in mind. You can find that kind of funnel here on Amazon. Alternatively, you can use an empty portable fuel tank if you have one, put the additive in that, and then use that to put it in the vehicle's tank. If neither of those is available, you can bypass the safety in the fuel receiver by triggering the related release points manually, but I will not provide detailed instructions for that here (spend a few extra bucks and buy the purpose built funnel!). ... show more
