Very easy to assemble. Put most of it together myself. Had to wait for daughter to come over to slide the backrest into the seat. We are short and it is nice to sit and our feet actually touch the floor. Lovely soft velvet sofa to sit and converse or read a book. It is firm and that’s ok by us. We have a big oversized sturdy recliner sofa for watching movies or napping. The fellas can sit there. I don’t know if this sofa could handle rowdy bigger kids leaping on or withstanding too much foolishness. Definitely not for a rumpus room. It is perfect for us 5’1” and 5’3” gals to have tea and visit. Will look very good in holiday photos. Refreshing the paint in the room and removing art. Placing a big mirror and placing a petite coffee table in front of it. We moved the quite large end tables as they overwhelmed the sofa. Perfect for small spaces or as a conversation area. Great price. I would but again.

Beautiful and great quality w/attention to detail! I bought a love seat and a chair. They look even more elegant in person. I was able to assemble both by myself even though instructions state you need 2 people. I am using these in spare bedroom and a reading room, so not primarily use. Comfort level is good but not sure how they would feel after extended use. The only negative is the smell of the loveseat. It is awful. Starting to diminish after a few weeks and smell absorbers but still pretty noticeable. The chair had the same smell but more faint. I decided not to take a star away b/c these are great pieces for the price.

the couch is comfortable and cute. and made very well. Ours got damaged in delivery. they helped with the return and they were awesome to work with it was damaged when we got it and they took care of the whole problem. you will not be disappointed with this company!!!

The most comfortable Chesterfield I’ve ever sat on. I was very surprised by that. VERY low back and sits VERY low to the floor. I actually like this sofa more than I thought I would. The burgundy makes a real statement!

Super fast shipping- it arrived 2 days before the earliest estimated arrival date, and I live about an hour from the nearest metro area so I definitely didn’t expect that. Excellent packaging. All pieces arrived in perfect condition. There wasn’t a lot of extraneous packaging to end up in the landfill. We will burn the cardboard in our wood stove, and the non-recyclable waste is small enough to fit in a plastic grocery sack. Instructions were thorough and easy to understand. I, a 40-something able-bodied woman, assembled it by myself in 20 minutes. It is comically short. This is going in a sitting area/whiskey lounge type space, so it works, but I would not recommend this for someone’s primary sofa. I’m 5’5” and I feel like a giant sitting on it, hence the slightly reduced comfort rating. I can’t speak to the quality or durability yet as it just arrived today. The material feels nice, it doesn’t feel or look plasticky. I’ll probably rub n’ buff the nailhead trim so it looks more antique than shiny and new.

Easy to assemble. The emerald green material looks amazing, much better than the photos. Cushions are firm but do leave a little dent for a bit after you leave the seat. I am 6’4” so I wish the back was a few inches taller. I realize it’s the design, but would be a good enhancement. Customer support was fantastic. I was going to be gone during the original arrival date. I used the Amazon contact the seller and had a very quick response and follow through during and after the delivery including I didn’t have any issues setting it up.

the chair was as shown and described. A very good chair for its price. If there is a negative it may sit a little lower than some want. It is nice for my office. I have the black and it is not shinny to look to fake but a good balance. I am curious what the dark brown is like (almost went with it).

…it would get five stars. It is beautiful and well made. That said, it is not at all comfortable. Both the seat and back are extremely firm with very little give. I had to buy some throw pillows to have something soft to lean against. We used to sit in the living room a lot more before the new sofa. Bottom line: If I had been able to test it before buying it would have been a hard pass. Assembly was straightforward, though you will need a second set of hands to attach the back to the seat base.
