  • It's shipped fast
It's affordable and strong

  • Tough and Versatile Engine Hoist Leveler
This engine hoist leveler feels very solid and well built with the steel construction giving it a reassuringly sturdy presence. The three-position design, combined with the adjustable handle, makes it surprisingly flexible and practical for lifting engines of different sizes and weights. With a capacity of ¾ ton (1,500 lb), it's clearly built for serious use but remains easy enough to maneuver when I need to fine-tune the load I am lifting. The overall build quality suggests this is a device that can withstand repeated, heavy-duty use without showing wear too quickly. I have used this 3 times in 5 months with my ceiling mounted winch attaching to it easily when I need to lift or pull a motor. Two of those times I found this perfect to stabilize the motor I am working on while I pull engine and transmission mounts, the other time was to pull a motor from a Subaru STI to rebuild the full long block after losing the main bearings. ... show more

  • Disappointed.
Size: No Lever Color: Yellow-no Lever
Let me start with the packaging was destroyed by the time it arrived.like it was dragged to my house. Scratches on almost every part. I did expect some considering it's metal , hardware is a joke bolts were not delivered as per the instructions but instead counter sink screws , which strip under hand tightened with a screwdriver. Dented material apparently from being dropped. And the ram jack takes 2 pumps to raise maybe 1/2" . And the ram jack has a sponge effect of about 8" travel. Like it has air trapped in it. The warning label has multiple misspelled words and the jack handle was not in the missing. Haven't used it yet but I fully expect it to fail at this point. I will find out tomorrow. ... show more

  • Engine Hoist Shop Crane Accessory
I received the item for free as part of the Amazon Vine review program; however, it looks like the product has completely changed since I ordered it four months ago, as I only received the end hoist and not the boom hitch. That being said, I haven't experienced any issues with it so far.

  • The Heavy Duty Engine Hoist Helper
Are you a Motorhead or a gearhead according to your other half? Do your friends show up at night and on the weekends to ask you questions about why their car is doing X instead of Y. Are there more than three inoperable (they either don’t run or shouldn’t be driven) vehicles in your driveway or yard that aren’t owned by you? If you answered “yes” to more than two of these questions, you either have an immediate need for this engine hoist / shop crane add-on or you soon will. One of my friends is that guy. Everyone in our little town shows up at his place anytime they have an issue with almost anything mechanical (if it’s a computer, mostly electronic, or a rock, it shows up at my place). Between the yard at his place and workshop at mine, we could probably build the next generation autonomous vehicle for use on Mars. Seriously, the growing groups of related “things” has reached the point of excess. With him, there seems to be an increasing dearth of vehicles requiring major motor work. Let’s face it, with a new work truck topping the price chart at over $100K, fixing what you have makes a lot of sense if it’s possible. Fortunately, new or rebuilt motors are far more economical than buying a new vehicle and this shop crane makes a motor change a lot easier at the home garage or even under the tree out back. I ordered this manual shop crane hoist for a totally different use than moving a motor but my friend quickly jumped on borrowing it for a project at his house. It’s well constructed and has a tremendous capacity of 1,500 pounds. Keep in mind that the part I received is not the entire crane assembly but rather only an accessory, the three position engine leveler. It works seamlessly with your shop crane. I’m pleased with this much needed accessory and think you will be, too. ... show more

  • Balance Bar
I use this at work to balance heavy machine parts during assembly. Its perfect for that as it allows you to change the balance point with a turn of the handle, which can raise or lower the sides of the machine till they are even. Combined with a cherry picker this lets you put the parts wherever you want with minimal force required. Its really quite heavy. I think the bar is made of solid steel. The picture isnt quite doing it justice. It weighs about 30 pounds. It comes with 4 chains so you can attach the workpiece you are lifting. Overall if you are lifting something heavy you basically need one of these. Good luck lifting the engine of a car without one. You would have to be the Hulk to pull that off. ... show more
