The media could not be loaded. My husband and I put it together in about 3-4 hours. Plan on spending some time on it lol. It's very sturdy and my 3yo daughter loves it! We got a 6" mattress as recommended and I definitely wouldn't suggest anything taller if you're worried about your kiddos falling off the top. The instructions were kinda like step 1: build the bed type of thing lol..I think there were only 4 or 5 steps in total but there are a bunch of little steps within the steps that start to make you go cross eyed after a bit. The bed says it can hold weight up to 150lbs, I feel like that's accurate. I'm 100lb and I'm currently in the bed with my daughter and it feels fine. There were some sharp edges on the bottom of the slide (where the two pieces meet) and on the stairs that I ended up having to put some masking tape on to smooth out. My daughter scraped her toe on the slide the morning after we got it, so something to be mindful of. If I knew those were going to be exposed sharp edges I would have sanded and repainted prior to building the bed. It's still possible to sand now, just more of a pain. There's also exposed holes on the top rail since you can choose which side the slide is on.. so the non slide side has the exposed holes and no railing at the opening. You'd think they would have included something to close off that open spot but hopefully my daughter doesn't decide to jump from it lol. You cannot choose which side the stairs go on, you can only choose where the slide goes. There are also little cubby holes on the outside of the stairs, so if you were planning on pushing the bed into a corner where the stairs are you'll lose out on that storage. If it had cost more I'd be more upset about the sharp spots and exposed holes but you get what you pay for so overall I'm okay with doing a little extra work for that. ... show more

This bed is for my Grandkids, First off you need a lot of patience to put this together, there are a lot of steps to putting together (25) and many little screws and fittings, It took 2 adults about 10 hrs over 3 days to get it done, there were damaged pieces we had to glue and zip tie after the screws cracked the wood going in, the screws holes were not deep enough therefore the wood cracked. The slide does not come all the way to the top of the bed leaving a couple inch space that a child could get scratched on, will have to cut a pool noodle to slide on it. ,Over all it is a very sturdy bed once together. I think it will work out great, just not sure what the seller/amazon will do for about the damaged pieces. ... show more

Our daughter absolutely LOVES this new bed. She calls it her playground. She loves the slide, the ladder and she has her little clubhouse under it. What we as parents love about it? The storage stairs. You can fit toys, books, etc in the stairs and save room to create more space in your child’s room. We left the bottom piece off. It doesn’t add any extra stability to the stairs, so why cover it up? It actually serves better as a third storage space for her bigger items! -big brain- XD I will warn people it takes a while to put together especially if you don’t have power tools. It can be done without power tools but it takes some elbow grease. I’d say for someone who isn’t natural handymen, it’ll take a few hours. But after our child’s reaction… all of it was worth it. It definitely feels sturdy too. We were a little worried that it would feel light and cheap but that wasn’t the case at all. Definitely satisfied. ... show more

This is a nice bed. It did take a couple of hours to put it together and my husband is an engineer. But some of the instructions and labeling was off. My son loves it especially the slide! The steps are a little tall so it was a little challenging at first for my kiddo but he is fine now. And the guard rail is a little low so we added another one. The only other thing I don't like is that you can see the screw holes. Wish it came with those plastic caps that blend in with the furniture. Overall though we like it. ... show more

Overall quality is very nice and the frame seems very sturdy. There were a few issues with with a scratch, some paint missing, and a cracked piece but the customer service was excellent and they quickly rectified the issue. Overall this is definitely a product I would buy again and my two year old daughter absolutely loves her new bed. Be prepared to spend 5-6 hours assembling however. We were able to put bed together in about 30 minutes with two people. Only issue was a bag of screws were missing so had to go to hardware store. I contacted seller and they quickly responded and refunded $25.00 which was more than enough to get the screws. My daughter loves the bed. It's the perfect size. You can easily make underneath it into a fort or play area. Great if you have a small room and wanna keep floor space. The bed is sturdy I was able to lay with her in it. The ladder is easy for a toddler to climb up and easy to reach each step without stretching too far so it's safe. The slide actually slides pretty fast. Only thing is at bottom of slide where there is a flat part that connects causes a bump at end is slide. Great product and seller! ... show more

We got this bed for my son for his birthday. This was the exact bed I had in my mind and have been looking all over for. Other places, that had similar styles, but 3 times the price. Now it did take my husband 8 hours to build it and he did have to drill better holes than the ones that were provided. He also thinks we'll have to replace the slats in a while.
