Description

Improper use1: Battery won't charge or shows 0V. How to fix? Use a 29.2V LiFePO4 charger with 0V activation; if no response, unplug and re‑plug the AC input to reset. Alternatively, connect to a 24V LiFePO4 controller/inverter/solar charger for 3‑10 seconds. Once voltage exceeds 20V, charge normally. Improper use2: Battery won't charge (voltage >0V). What are common causes? Common causes: incompatible charger (use 28.4‑29.2V LiFePO4 charger), loose connections, or BMS protection. Disconnect all cables and wait 30 min. Then use the correct charger to charge. If BMS is triggered, reset by disconnecting load for 5 min. Improper use3: Bluetooth won't connect via code. How to fix? Ensure the LiTime APP is installed and the battery has sufficient voltage. Check the battery level. Restart the APP and your phone's Bluetooth, and move closer to the battery. I'm using 2 of the 100ah 24v Bluetooth/smart batteries to power critical circuits in my house during short power outages. The batteries power a 24v pure sine 110/220 inverter coupled with a 10 circuit transfer switch. So far, much better than the lead acid batteries I was using and at a reasonable price point. No more dealing with acid while checking water levels and worry of gas while charging not to mention the nice BMS and other benefits of the lifepo4 chemistry (e.g. no peukert's law, much lighter, flatter voltage curve etc.). At this price, lead acid can't compete. With the same rated capacity of the lead acid (200ah @ 24v), in initial testing they are lasting almost twice as long. I'm able to run my 220v 1/2 hp well pump, 2 refrigerators, microwave, coffee maker, garage door openers, and various other lighting and outlets for about 10 to 12 hours (after that, I use the generator). The bluetooth is a huge bonus for this use. I can monitor the percent power used/available from anywhere in the house and I can easily monitor their condition when not being used. The display of the current works fine during charging, but is too jumpy during use/draw (maybe needs time dampening option). If I needed/wanted to handle longer outages, a couple of the new 230ah 24v smart battery is very tempting. Great product. I have my Terrova hooked up to this 24v 100ah battery. Took it out this weekend and had 79% battery left after spot lock was on for about 6 hours in a steady wind. Played with the jig and auto pilot feature as well. Highly recommended.

Got 3 of these 24v batteries in parallel. Seem good with solar system. May need another for my solar system, for cabin off grid. Bluetooth is nice. Nice app. Time will tell.

The battery is great. Plenty of capacity and works very well in my limited ownership time. Seems to charge fast and has plenty of capacity. The Bluetooth monitoring works well for the most part, but it does have one problem. While the battery is only discharging, it works very well. But if its being charged and discharges at the same time, the charge current fluctuates a lot. You would expect it to show the difference between charge and discharge steady. But it does a full sweep from negative to positive values continuously. Not great for an accurate measurement while charging. Instead might want to get the non Bluetooth one next time and get a smart shunt from victron. ... show more

Works great for my trolling motor. Took it out on the river in shallow water on almost full speed for 6hrs and it still had 29% battery when I got back to the launch. And that’s a minnkota 80lb thrust pulling around a 21ft bass boat.

The batteries were easy to install and wire to our solar panels and pump. We have been using them most of the year with no problems at all. The two batteries together are able to power the water pump 24/7with 400 W of solar panel.
