We purchased this for our RV and it's great! Makes ice quickly and doesn't take up too much counter space! We can run it one day and make enough ice for the week, just monitor it and empty the ice basket when full and refill with water as needed. I actually like this machine. Pros are that it makes a perfect size ice in two different sizes and it is easy to fill and clean and it is slightly compact enough to fit on my counter. The con is not really a con but it may annoy some people. There is not anything in the machine that keeps the ice cold once it is made so you either need to make it and take it out and put it in your freezer and turn the machine off or you need to leave it on continuously. When left on continuously, it makes the ice and then as the ice melts it starts back up and re-makes it. Every time you open the lid to get ice, it will regenerate and make more. I drink a 40 ounce Stanley a few times a day and I just love having ice available. I do have to leave it plugged in and on at all times but I have not noticed any issues and there is always ice when I need it. But you should note it does not make it in 10 minutes as described and the first time that you plug it in it takes a long time, but then it stays caught up . It is not a large amount of ice but enough to fill a 40 ounce Stanley and then it needs to make more. My refrigerator does not have an icemaker, so this has been super awesome for me. But as I said, for people that are annoyed by some thing, running all the time, this would not be for you. It does run frequently throughout the day/night. ... show more
