Originally purchased life guards and they seemed great. However, big knife guards do not slide in or out easily. It doesn't feel safe using these knife guards, especially with the open circle design. I contacted customer service and they sent a replacement. Same issue as original purchase. The knife guards look nice but are defective. Customer service did refund me the original purchase. Though I will not use these knife guards.

They are colorful and fit the knife set well. They also allow for the knives to be held onto the magnetic wall rack with them placed over the blades, which I like for added safety. For the price however, they are a bit pricey for plastic sleeves.

Our daughter sent us the beautiful knives as a gift. I purchased these knife covers to keep them safe. I don't know why the knives are not sold with the covers as they really are necessary to keep the knives sharp and to protect fingers from getting cut.
