There are a few details to note with this five star purchase. I did not read the details of this order. That is my fault, of course. It cannot be returned. I started the return process because it stopped working after about eight days. That was my fault as well. I had accidentally pushed the release switch. Please make sure that the switch to engage it on the front is pushed all the way down. I accidentally pushed it up when cleaning it. And, when trying to ignite this unit, make sure that you turn the knob to turn it on counter clockwise all the way to the bottom until it clicks. If you do all of that, it works like a champ. I would say that it cooks on one butane canister for 180-200 minutes on medium heat, which is about six meals in my house. I like low and slow cooking. High heat on this unit would be amazing for searing or wok cooking but would burn anything else. The case it comes in is cheap, brittle plastic that is hard to close. That is not an issue for me because I am using it at home but it might be an issue if you are trotting it around from campsite to campsite. For my purposes this stove is perfect.

Bought this as a replacement. We use these often when camping or cooking something outside of the house. I purchased this in Jun 2024 and it is still going strong. If you are familiar with these stoves then you probably have thrown them away because the center burner usually melts. This stove has a brass burner and looks as good today as it did when we took it out of the box. If you use these often I strongly recommend spending the few extra dollars for this instead of the throw away models.

I wish I could have better things to say than is is a good burner. The plastic case door latch was DOA, broken in half, and the Fuel compartment cover is bent and won't close properly. Okay, so I bought another, different brand. Ugh, it was even worse. I decided to keep this one because I love the "indoor" rating and the burner works very good. In fact, it may not get as low in temperature as I want. The burner grates are heavier duty and thick. The controls are simple and work well. I ran it on low and my non stick fry pan hit 400 degrees without the pizza pan it was sitting on as a drip pan, getting warm at all. I needed this for Super Bowl as an indoor kabob grill and I'm sure it will work well. A little Super Glue and some sheet metal work with my pliers, and I'm good to go.

I love this stove! I got this to recreate a restaurant hot pot experience. The stove provides great control over the flame from a barely a flicker of a flame through a raging fire that heats things up rather quickly. This is so portable that we set it right in the center of the kitchen table as a communal hot pot stove. The 8 oz butane canister contains enough energy to last at lease three hot pot meals. Thus far, we had two. Both experiences were fantastic! The cleanup is also super simple. Anything that may get a little spatter and drip lifts right out of the stove where it can get cleaned under a kitchen faucet as a single piece. Can't wait to take it on the road when we go cross-country. This is a keeper for sure! 5 year update (2025-10-10) Still kicking! After 5 years of use, this is still working like new! The easy cleanup after cooking has kept the unit pretty darn clean. Since this is so portable, whenever I have messy cooking to do, I set this up outside on the patio table and cover up the table before setting this up on it. All the splatters from messy frying and such is so easy to cleanup. If I do the messy cooking in the kitchen, it would be 10 times more work. Every time I use it, I am just as appreciative of its sensible design as the first time, if not more appreciative now. This is so practical! I can't get over it! Also, from the looks of it, I think this will continue to last for the foreseeable future as long as I don't mistreat it.

Easy to use. Light weight. Easy to put away. I love it. I had a much heavier, harder to use one and gave it away. Now if I lose my electricity, I can still make coffee without going to my neighbor's house! But just as important, I can now use my old pressure cooker again!
