Our family enjoys grilled food often and we take our experience with grills quite serious. Starting off with the good. We have had this grill setup for about 10 days and we have used it all 10 days. Really love how well it cooks. Heat is distributed evenly and the cart is quite sturdy. The heat shields have extra wide and has flat extended areas which catch the grease and return it in the form of great smoke flavor. We get fantastic grilled food every time, so far. The top rack is super easy to remove or install, even while in use (with proper grill gloves), and makes reaching the food in the back a total breeze. Gage in the cover seems to be on par and even noticed the burners are quite easy and safe to light - no flare-ups at all. Now for the less impressive part. We are experiencing two serious issues with this particular grill. First is that the Lid is extremely thin, too light in build quality, and bends badly when lifting with one hand. In addition to the flimsy affects, the handle on the front bends up and down on the lid where mounted and gives the impression it could fall off any moment. If you lift too quickly on one side, then the lid does not close all the way and you have a gap -- thus, we have to lift again and fix the over-flexing condition. Secondly, is again with the Lid -- in just 5 days, we noticed severe surface rust appearing on the very top of the lid near the left and right hand sides. In only 4 additional days, the metal already has minor rust pitting occurring. All in all this grill really does an amazing job. However, for the price, we wished the mfg. would have given a bit more notice to the Lid. We are willing to pay for quality and this grill is mostly there. If you can find some 1000 degree F. paint, one could keep up with the rusting issues. The flimsy lid handle and lid are less than to be desired. Our recommendation is yes if you can put up with the lid and a no, if a sturdy non-rust lid is important to you. ... show more
