I've only used it a couple times so far and for the most part pleased. Building it wasn't bad after the legs were together. The one thing in don't like is the small wheels that came with it, they're narrow and small in diameter look out of place in fact I took the wheels off my old grill and put them on it because I move it around alot when setting it up to grill, if your just going to leave it in one spot it's fine. ... show more

This Char-Broil hits that sweet spot between basic and functional. It’s not trying to be a high-end showpiece, but it covers the essentials well enough for most backyard setups. Right out of the gate, the 30,000 BTUs give it solid heat. It gets up to temp reasonably fast and delivers a respectable sear, burgers, chicken, steaks, all come out with that proper grilled finish. The stainless steel burners feel durable, and paired with the porcelain-coated grates, cleanup is easier than expected. Food releases without a fight, which is always appreciated after a long cook. The piezo ignition is another win, quick, reliable starts without the usual clicking drama. Small detail, but it makes a difference. The lid-mounted temperature gauge is also surprisingly useful for keeping things dialed in without constantly lifting the lid and losing heat. Design-wise, it’s practical. The tool hooks are simple but handy, and the overall footprint is manageable. It’s labeled “portable,” which is somewhat true, it’s not ultra-light, but it’s easy enough to move around the patio or reposition when needed. A couple trade-offs. Heat distribution isn’t perfectly even, so you’ll want to learn your hot spots. And the 1-year warranty is on the shorter side, which tells you this is more of a value-focused grill than a long-term tank. Bottom line, nothing flashy here, just a dependable gas grill that does what it’s supposed to do.     • Pain in the butt to set up but works very well

To spare others from a solo attempt: this grill really requires a second set of hands if you dont want your assembly to be filled with expletives. Its exceedingly difficult to set up alone. Also the instructions have no words and pictures only. There were multiple times pieces were assembled only to realized not correctly and they had to be disassembled and started from scratch. So assembly is a huge p.i.a. however once you've but the thing together it works very well. My mom cooked burgers on it and it did such a good job my father even gave her the honor of designated family burger cooker. This is a miracle considering my mother has burned everything she's ever tried to cook on the charcoal grill. The benefit of consistent easily controlled heat was apparent even to my charcoal loving family. While we will still enjoy eating our heat for certain food items we all agree that the gas grill has advantage for certain food items. We are really satisfied despite the difficulties in set up and give the very reasonable price I think this is a 5 star item. ... show more

This gas grill comes with quite a few parts, so be prepared to spend some time putting it together. The instructions were decent enough, and once assembled, it looks sleek and modern on the patio. The black finish gives it a clean, stylish appearance, and it feels fairly sturdy for the price point. Performance wise, it works exactly as intended. This Charbroil bbq was the biggest disappointment ever. We previously had another one that was terrific. This one is junk. The parts don't fit correctly, it is missing things. Could not be more disappointed ☹️.
