Love the size and weight for our camper and it is the reason I bought. For the two of us, it is perfect. Easy to assemble. Hard to control temp! After watching a couple videos, a week of trying, and a bag of charcoal, I bought a controller. I already had a Smoke X dual thermometer from ThermoWorks so I went with their Billows unit. Since then no problems. Keeps perfect temps just like a Komodo should. With the Chargrillerstone I smoked/dehydrated jalapeños from our garden to make chipotlesat 180f for over 24 hours. Tunnel boned, brined and smoked a fresh ham at 200f for two hours then 225f for about another 4 hours. I have done a couple pizzas at 400f. Without the stone, the obligatory burgers and steaks at 600f. Wife wants to try a loaf of bread. We are loving this thing. ... show more

I have a Big Green Egg and this one cooks just as well if not better. It heats up quickly, uses way less charcoal and the surface area of the grill is large enough to cook for a large group of people. Also got the ceramic heat deflector which works awesome as well! This is my first foray into smokers and this thing is great. Ive cooked a few meals so far using it as a charcoal grille and separtely as a smoker and it performs wonderfully. Be sure to pick up the stone that fits it for smoking and watch some youtubes videos for delicious meals/recipes, thats all I did! ... show more
