Except for attaching the door hinges to the cabinet (needed hubs for that as my fingers aren’t too strong) the rest of the unit went together just fine. The hard part, the burner unit, is done for you. All the assembly is basically the cabinet and side shelves. Instructions are diagrams that I recommend studying carefully to make sure the orientation of the cabinet and pieces match those diagrams. There are no written words, just well done diagrams. I started by doing a parts inventory then realized the parts list included all the pieces in the pre assembled burner unit so I stopped. No pieces were missing. No extra pieces when done. Holes are all reinforced with, I think, brass fittings and easy to screw into with the exception of the door hinges to the cabinet which are not reinforced. The burners in this two burner unit run a little hotter up front in the first 2 inches of the grills. The rest is uniform. This does not impact our cooking as it’s just the two of us. We like it and this is the second Char-Broil we’ve bought in over 20 years. Replacement parts were always easy to get so that’s why when we retired the last one we went with Char-Broil again. ... show more

The bbq grill assembly was easy but took at least 90 minutes to complete. The grill is well made and after a couple bbq meals, it seems to provide a great platform for cooking. The only complaint I have is similar to what others have noted…the burners tend to allow more gas nearest the front of the grill that CAN’T be adjusted so you need to be aware when cooking not to potentially burn your meal. ... show more
