    • Weird bulbs

I like that there are different options for brightness with the bulbs, but it is kinda weird that you have to turn the lamp on and off to get the brightness. I wish it was a dimmer or something to turn. It's also frustrating when you turn it on and it's not the level you need because it cycles through it. I ended up taking the bulbs out and putting smart lightbulbs in so I could control it with my Echo and dim it how I wanted. The lamp itself is super easy to put together and has a nice clean look. My husband was skeptical about the product when he saw that the lampshade was rolled but I put it all together in minutes and it looks great! You'd never know it wasn't a normal shade. Pros: Good weight and nice height. Sturdy. Pretty. Cons: Had sharp point on the ceramic at the bottom of one lamp which cut my hand deeply. Blood everywhere, but luckily not on the shade. I’ve never written an Amazon review before, but wanted to share my experience with this purchase. When I bought these lamps, there were no reviews. By the time I received them, there was one negative review and I was prepared to return them without even opening the box! However, I decided to see them for myself and I’m glad I did. Yes, there are multiple parts and pieces (each carefully packaged)…yes, the shades required assembly (as stated in the product description)…I took my time, looked at the (minimal) instructions, and used common sense in putting them together. They were easy to assemble, and they’re actually perfect for the guest room where I’ll be using them. I’m so glad I didn’t return them! If you’re looking for easy, ’ready to use right out of the box’ lamps, these might not be for you. If you’re willing to spend 10 minutes or so to put them together, and have cute, simple lamps (at an affordable price point), then don’t hesitate to get these! ... show more

These lamps were exactly what I expected. They were easy to assemble with just a few steps and look gorgeous on our nightstands! One thing to note is that the shades arrive flat and you have to snap the ends together, which means the seams are a bit more noticeable than other lamp shades I have had. This isn’t a big deal though since we just rotated the seams to the back to hide them. The only other thing to note is that it doesn’t seem to be perfectly compatible with smart bulbs since it has the 3 level dimmer. We use smart bulbs and it works for the most part, but it just doesn’t dim below a certain brightness. (The 5% smart bulb setting seems more like 20%.) This isn’t a fault of the lamp at all, but I just wanted to give a heads up to anyone else who may be planning on using smart bulbs. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The white bases and white shades are perfect for non color enthusiasts. The three way switch is nice but the dimmest setting is very dim. On the plus side the two brighter settings are really bright. I got the set to lighten up our farmhouse family room
