  • Superior Cooking Experience
I've been cooking for many decades, and I have used all different types of cookware. The easiest to used were the non-stick ones. Unfortunately, they don't seem to last and worse, it seems they are bad for you because of the non-stick product used. I recently attempted to use stainless steel cookware, and I hated it. I felt like I needed to learn to cook all over, as in technique. I cook often and it made me not want to cook at all. I figured I'd give this set of porcelain cookware a try. I have never used a porcelain cookware, and hadn't bought one because they seem to be very expensive. Looking back, I should have gone straight to porcelain. Considering these are from an unknown brand, you have to trust that the material is safe for cooking. Aside from that, we love this cookware. First we love the design and the look. The dark blue with white paint splatter all over reminds me of the Mexican cookware I grew up with. I love the feel of the handles and the color pattern. Not super crazy with the flat covers. Talking about the lids, the glass is a little in the thin side, and I hope they don't break easily. The vent hole seems a little in the larger side, and overall it seems to take a little longer to get the heat up. Not a tremendous amount but noticeable. Does seem that going from one type of cookware material to another, there is always a learning curve. Thus far, we love cooking with the cookware. For one, nothing sticks to them, and super easy to clean. They are fairly light, but not cheap looking or feeling. I cooked different foods, and used everything included, and so far no complaints. If anything, I want to give extra love to the ladle. The ladle is the perfect size, and the perfect angle. I too have used many of them, and they all suck compared to this one. Other positive things that I love is the included skillet. Perfect for pancakes, or heating tortillas. If anything, it could be improved by including two of the large lids. I'd prefer if the largest pot was bigger and taller. It is big enough, and it does help to keep everything nice and compact as it relates to shipping. I like that they came with this protective material that can be used to put between your pans to keep them from scratching. Lastly, the handles don't sit super tight. I tried tightening the screws, but that didn't work. Overall, very happy with this cookware and would recommend. ... show more

  • Nice set of pots and pans
I've been needing a new set of pots and pans for a while now as my old set had become scratched up and the non stick part went out the window. (Teenagers are old enough to drive but not old enough to not use metal on nonstick pans apparently. I swear. I think kids are so cute when they're young to help us to not kill them when they become teenagers, SMH. 😄) What I like about this set. They look nice. To be honest I had just selected them for review because they're one of those things I've needed for a while but never got around to getting. So I didn't look that closely at the sale pics. When they arrived I was pleasantly surprised just how much I like how they look. The nonstick works perfectly. I even specifically let some food really burn badly around the side upper edges and it still just wiped right off. The lids fit perfectly without any wiggle and the rubber edges seals nicely. The set has enough variety of sizes for our needs. The handles all fit snugly to the pots and pans unlike some I've had over the years that like to turn in their housings a bit. They come with covers so you can stack them without having to worry about them getting scratched up. They're surprisingly light. I wasn't expecting just how light and that's definitely a nice bonus. They come with a little rubber mat so you can keep your countertops clean. It remains to be seen if they're teenager proof. lol Somehow I doubt it, SMH. But then again that's asking a lot. All in all we're really happy with this set. ... show more

  • Nice set of pans, lightweight and durable. Great accessories too.
This is a nice and comprehensive set of pans and accessories. The pans themselves look nice, but you do have to assemble them. And thankfully, the 22 pieces included the handles on the pans, even tho you have to put them on yourself. The reason for docking a star is that on one of the pans with the two handles, the die for the screw thread had burrs on it, so I was not able to cinch down one of the handles into the pan. I ended up having to get in there and remove the burrs, forcing one of the spare screws through the hole on both sides, to make the final screw sit flush, otherwise the washer that you need to use rattled in the handle being as it wasn't down tight enough. I finally made it work. The pans themselves heat up nicely, and appear to heat up quicker than my previous set. I've cooked steak and veggies, pasta, and pasta sauces and clean up has been a breeze! In the past, cold pasta would really stick to the bottom of my pans, but here it just scoops out. The steaks caused no issue either, I was able to just wipe out the pan with a paper towel afterwards, to get all the steak juice/oils out before washing. The pans seem to be nice and durable, and they are lightweight. The handles have remained 'holdable' - I wouldn't say they remain 'cool', especially the two handled pans, but you can still hold them and pick them up. Overall, I'm happy with this set. And the white pan dividers will keep them looking and working like new for a long time to come, as long as you use them to separate the surfaces of pan against pan. Nice that they were included tho! There's also a couple of utensils and a caddy for them, that stops you from making a mess of your countertops. Nice touch! ... show more
