Was able to put it on my deck to bathe my boy. I put it on the deck so I can use the warm water out the window from the kitchen sink. Got the medium size for my 85 pound pitbull. I wanted a smaller size because I wanted a tub versus a pool but it would work nicely as both. He could easily splash around in this medium on hot summer days. There is ample room. I was able to wash him in it and let the water build up some so his feet could soak. He was able to step in and out with ease and clean up and storage was a breeze. We usually use a plastic storage bin to bathe him which is difficult to wash him in because of the tight space and the dirty water building up quickly. With this I was able to wash him all around, on top, under his carriage, his feet, all with ease. And if the water builds up too much, you can easily drain it since it has a drain. Now my boy is a clean boy and we are back to snuggling. He is happy and feels better and so do I. I got the plastic one because I wanted overnight delivery. I actually don't know the difference between the plastic and mdf but the plastic one came with a patch, so of course there is the possibility of it getting ripped. Used it this one time only and so far his talon like nails has not ripped it. Only time will tell. Would recommend. ... show more

It's a fairly inexpensive portable pool... With that in mind, it works well and I think it will be durable enough for me to bathe the dogs in and put out for them on hot days. I was a bit concerned about the dog's nails, but so far no issues. Easy improvements that would cost the company virtually nothing, but take it from a 4 star to a 5: - Max fill line. - Instructions mention the diameter for drain hose. - Match bulkhead drain threads to common garden hose threads. - Include more patch material (manufacturing waste can surely support more than 1 patch). ... show more

This pool is awesome for my westies. I bought it last year and they were in it all the time. When I got it out this year and put it on our deck to fill they were in it before I got the garden hose! It folds so easy and doesn't take much room to store. The dogs always go out when I'm outside and when they get hot they jump in the water for a couple of minutes and when they are cooled off enough they are running and playing again. Lots of hours of fun for them. We have a dog door so I have purchased the rugs that quick dry their feet and have put a couple inside the dog door so they don't bring water in the house. I got the small one so the side is 8" tall and I keep 4"-5" of water in it. Over the next few days after filling it I use a small bucket to water my outside flowers from which saves me from dragging the hose out all the time and then I change the water after a few days. They are in and out of it enough and moving the water that I have never seen mosquito larvae swimming around in it before draining and filling. Bought this for my daughter because her small plastic one recently got a crack in it. It’s a perfect size because it’s big enough that I can sit in it with her to stay cool while she splashes. Seems to be good quality and I like the easy storage option. Almost perfect, except my specific item has a small section of the seem on the side of the pool that is not closed. I think over time this will be a problem as the inside is exposed to wetness with splashing or rain. But for now it works. However, I think I just received a defective product. ... show more

I have a 1 year old and 3 year old. This was the best pool I have ever purchased. The quality is outstanding and I love that it’s so easy to setup. You literally unfold and it just immediately stands right up. The texture of the material prevents my baby from slipping in the water and falling over. We bought the XL size and it’s perfect for our deck and their size.. I anticipate them being able to play in this the next couple years. Also checkout the Clorox website for guidelines on adding bleach to a kiddie pool and you can keep your pool water fresh everyday without having to dump and refill all the time. ... show more

I got this pool for my two corgis, primarily for outdoor bathtime. I found that bathing them inside had a lot of cons (wet dog smell, water everywhere, ungodly amounts of hair, etc.), so I opted to get them a swimming pool to keep all the mess outside. It works pretty well! I filled it up with no problems. I ordered a large and both could fit in there (around 40 pounds each), though I could have sized up.
