I plan to use this on my furnace in the fall once the leaves start falling to keep the leaves out and perhaps over winter (when the outside unit isn’t used at all). The problem with all these is they inhibit air flow making your unit less efficient. I know this is a screen but it still impacts unit efficiency. In the fall my units don’t run much so the efficiency hit isn’t as big a factor As for the cover itself, it fits well and is relatively easy to secure. Wish the mesh wasn’t as fragile. Doesn’t seem like it will last more that a few months especially if it is in the sun a lot.
