My husband installed it himself and said it was super easy, only took about 30 minutes. Even though it’s compact, it’s mighty — it pushes out a lot more air than we expected. It also has different fan and light settings, which we love. The remote control is a huge bonus because we can keep it high enough so our son can’t reach it, and with a little Velcro we just stick it to the wall for easy access. Purchased two of these. Installed in primary closet. Assembly is a bit tedious but not horrible. Quality is cheap but they look fine. Once installed, both units worked fine for about 4 weeks. Now one of them comes on intermittently when the power is on. I have checked the connections and am sure that’s not the issue. Amazon is doing a courtesy return/refund for me. Before going that route, they gave me the sellers email address to request a replacement under warranty. I sent emails to the seller and have had no response. Not a word. So am returning the light to Amazon. May just have been a fluke but lack of response from seller is not okay. ... show more
