There weren't many reviews for the Dolavast ceiling fans but I took a chance and bought a 52" size for my great room. - Nicely & safely packaged with no mess, included white gloves - Clear assembly instructions with helpful diagrams - Easy & quick to install in around 40 minutes with 2 people, but could be done with 1 person - Light weight, good quality, everything lined up & fit properly - Looks very nice! - Extremely quiet DC motor with good air flow - Remote works great (Batteries are not included) - All light settings work well (bright white, neutral, & warm yellowish) & dimmable LEDs - Great price on sale I bought two more 52" fans for my bedrooms. The Dolavast fans look smaller than other fans with the same size blades because they have a low profile and the casing around the motors is small. Extremely easy install. It took me about an hour, and I was taking my time. All the parts were very nice quality given the price. The instructions are very clear and even have a QR code that links to a video version of the installation. The mounting bracket come with a terminal strip for all the electrical connections (SO NICE), so no wire nuts needed. I can confirm the fan motor is VERY quiet. I can't notice any noice coming from it; the only the sound when it's on is the sound of air being being moved. The fan has 6 speeds and it moves quite a bit of air at the top speed for great cooling. The box came with a fan balancing kit, but I didn't need to use it. I didn't notice any vibrations or unbalanced fan blades even at the top speed. I'm extremely impressed overall! ... show more

The fan looks great and was easy to install. I really like the dimmable light and the different color settings—the moon/night setting is my favorite for waking up. It’s also incredibly quiet, which I absolutely love. The only downside is that the light doesn’t always stay on one color. Easy to install. Quiet as a mouse. Great airflow 42in works perfect for my bedroom. Nice bedroom lighting. Make sure you watch video before install and be careful not to use red/blue wire from house.. Black, Neutral and Ground only, cap the other wire and you’ll be good to go!

Just completed installing this ceiling fan. Instructions were clear and I did not encounter any issues with the assembly or installation. A few really nice features of this ceiling fan: 1) Practically all of the screws were already loosely attached, which makes it easy to see and know which screws go where. This is so much better than having a bunch of screws in a plastic bag, in which you have to figure out which ones go where. 2) I love the fact that 95% of the assembly/installation is done not standing on a ladder! 3) The safety rope is great! Allowed me to mount the fan by myself. 4) The snap electrical connections are great! The fan is super quiet … even at the higher speeds! The remote is very functional and has all the needed features. The 3 different types of light is nice … and the brightness is sufficient and can be dimmed with the remote. So far, I have to give this ceiling fan 5 stars! I really hope it doesn’t break too soon! ... show more
