The light is bright enough to actually illuminate the whole space, and the remote control is super responsive, which is a huge plus when you’re already tucked into bed. It runs incredibly quiet even on the higher settings, and the airflow is impressive for a fan of this size—it really moves the air around and keeps the room feeling fresh. The only reason I’m docking a star is that the installation was a bit of a struggle due to the hard to follow directions. The manual was pretty vague in a few spots, and I had to spend some extra time squinting at the diagrams to make sure I was wiring everything correctly. If you have a little bit of DIY experience, you’ll get it figured out, but definitely be prepared for some trial and error during the setup. This ceiling fan is very easy to install and has a lot of different features to it one in particular is that it has six different settings for the fan and 3 or 4 light settings. It cools the room instantly. Very affordable and I will buy again for 2 more bedrooms.

The Airflow output is actually really good! Install was super easy. No balancing required! Tips to help others: * It only requires 1 hot wire to power both the fan and the light, so you could use the cheaper 12/2 instead of 12/3 romex wire. Unless you decide you want to do your own way and cut the connectors and wire it old school without the remote. * You cannot use a dimmer switch with this fan - just use a regular switch. * You only need 1 wall switch. The rest is controlled by the provided remote. Hopefully that helps. ... show more

The fact that you can change dirrections with the remote is a huge plus! you don't need a ladder to flip a switch. The fan speeds are great and it runs quiet.
