The media could not be loaded. Ok, so as you’ll see in my video… I’ve never seen a fan hesitate to start spinning like this one does… however I’ve also never seen one come to a halt so fast after going full speed either, I counted 12 seconds. This fan has an interesting drivetrain. I hope that doesn’t equate to an unreliable drivetrain, only time and use will tell. Things to note, in the description it says (wood) when you choose the wood “color”, it is absolutely not wood, 100% plastic. But that’s fine, doesn’t harm the quality of the fan in any way. Installation wasn’t too bad, the instructions were straight forward, and only slightly misleading when it came to putting the support pole in, seems a tad bit out of order, but if you don’t follow the instructions blindly, and assemble it in a way that makes sense you’ll get it right… not a big deal. I will say, the control unit that will live under the white cover near the ceiling, a bit large. Took some careful planning on my end on how to route the wires around the mounting bracket and still leave room for the control unit and plug everything in where it needs to go from there. Luckily everything unplugs so I could just move all the wires out the way, slide the unit into the empty cavity and wrap the wires around as needed to plug into it. Unfortunately you have to do all of this while the fan is 95% assembled and in place already so there’s not a lot of room to work. Also, keep in mind, you have to give the light cover a slight counterclockwise twist to access the screw holes underneath… instructions don’t seem to mention that but I figured that out on my own. The instructions are written like they assumed there would be no light cover… weirdly. I really like that the last setting you had for the light (color & brightness) remains when you turn off the light switch it’s connected to, and turns on when you switch the light switch on regardless if it was on or off beforehand, but the fan setting always defaults to off, remembering which direction and speed you had it set to if you just hit the fan button on the remote, regardless if you had it on or not when you last hit the switch. At its highest speed, the fan is very quiet, and the light can be adjusted from definitely bright enough to just enough to get situated for bed. I have no solid complaints, the fan blows very cold air with a lot of force, so it definitely does its job. Once you get past the installation, I think you’ll enjoy this fan plenty. The remote comes with no batteries so you’re on your own with 2-AAA batteries. You can’t do any functions without the remote except turn the light on and off via the light switch you’ve probably got it hooked up to. A good buy in my opinion! So long as that quirky drivetrain is reliable.

The media could not be loaded. Instructions are not the clearest, so as there multiple steps and parts there were a few missteps, leading to longer than expected install time. If you were a fan installer, and familiar with this model, then not a problem, but just be aware if you are installing yourself. Now it just so happens I had just installed a Hunter on another bedroom, and it took an hour. This one took 4 hours. Note you will need to replace any variable light/speed wall controller with a regular switch as the unit is remote controlled. Once together it works well. The blades are shaped like propellar blades, so despite being only small, it is powerful in a small room. Usual modern operations, including light color temperature and bonus 6 speed fan.

I like this fan n I ordered 3 . But they came with no instructions. It had a small paper I mean small with a sketch kinda showing a diagram. But again no instructions. Luckily I have the pic of what it looks like n some personal smarts with a buddy to figure it out.
