First, the electrical installation is as easy as matching 3 different colors. The light is very bright at it full setting, although the dim night light is good it could have gone down 2 more levels. The fan is great, I have a basic 10x10 room , the top of my mattress to the top of the fan is about 5 feet, even at its lowest setting you will be nice and cool. A powerful little fan. A+. I would definitely purchase again. I like that it operates by remote control but if you lost the remote, how would the fan work?

So to be fair, I'm giving it four stars initially only because i've only had it a few weeks, and cannot comment on durability. With that said, I will say its mostly plastic, which is somewhat concerning, but it is also very light, so it may not be an issue. The installation instructions are less than stellar, but since this wasn't my first ceiling fan install, I was familiar with how they typically would go together. All the parts were there. The included remote has many options, including fan speed, dimming, light color (bright white to warmish natural), a timer function...i like it. Once i dialed in the light color, it is a nice bright appealing (to me) color. The style i would consider is modern and sleek and fits the color scheme in the room i installed it in. The blades are small which may be unappealing to some. The fan itself is quite quiet when operating, with only moderate noise even at the highest fan speed. The small blades move the air quite well and it does a good job of creating the cooling effect it was installed for. If it holds up, i would have no problem recommending and giving it 5 stars.

I was looking for a small fan for my home office. Found this one on Amazon. Was easy to assemble and install. I am in my late 70"s and managed to do it, that is how easy it was to install (I have installed many fans over the years.). Remote works very well. I really have no complaints for a little fan that cost so little. If they made one in white I would buy one for another room. Motor makes virtually no noise. All I hear is the blades cutting through the air. The lowest speed is probably the only speed I will ever use. Moves a lot of air at the lowest setting. I don't know how it will do over time, but I think the build quality is excellent. Could not be more pleased!
