Multiple ports is what I need for my nightstand. Works well. However, internal are not insulated to keep buzzing noise out at night usage. All you can hear is buzzing when plugged into the USB ports. Bummer

I was pleasantly surprised about how this works with my computer desk. I bought another type like this, but the bar had to rest on the desk itself (taking up, much needed space). This one clamps to the sides, which made it perfect for what I was trying to accomplish. My PC desk is all glass and I have had it for years now. Could never figure out how to make all the power cords and what-not look neat. Well, along with this in combination with a wire management clamp-on cable tray and you have something that can make any desk look organized. No cords of any type on the floor and they can all rest in that cable tray. You will most likely need 2 of each, 2 cable trays and 2 of these power strip outlets. You get 9 outlets (3 ontop, 3 on the outside and 3 on the bottom). You get 3 USB-A (with the Orange one being a faster one (QC 3.0 port) and 1 USB-C port). All work great for your needs. It even came with a On/Off switch, which is good when I power everything down for the night. I prefer not to have one that stays powered on 24/7. It wastes power for nothing. I even bought more for some of my friends and family.

It's definitely has the outlets, power switch, and a heavy duty power cord which is great, but the clamp is a problem for me. Unfortunately when tightening the clamp to my desk, it seems loose and moves easily. The more the clap is tightened, the clamp bracket start to bend causing the bar to twist and still doesn't grip. The single large clamp in the center with no gripping material seems to be it's flaw, but the power bar itself is nice.
