This fountain is very sturdy and well made. The pump is very quiet. The basin is all one piece metal so it does not leak. It is very easy to clean and replace the filters. There are 2 filters, one is a cartridge type and the other is a mesh foam circle that fits around the pump base. I like the double filters since they give double the cleaning. It is easy to refill by unplugging the power cord and lifting the lid/pump off the base. You do have to be careful to tilt the lid and let water drain back into the base before lifting off completely. Some water may spill. The power cord is basically a usb style that plugs into a wall charger part. It works but feels a bit cheap. I have not had any problems with it however. The small notch in the base where the power cord goes through does not have rounded edges so be careful when you put the cord that it does not get abraded. Because the base is solid metal you can’t visually check water level, I usually just lift it to check by weight. It did accidentally run dry once but started right up whe I refilled. The cats love it and stay hydrated!

I lost hope on finding the right fountain. After trying four other fountains and returning them, I bought this one. Not only does it look great, installation was a breeze, and the first thing I noticed was that it doesn't leak. No annoying bright light, either. I love that I can move the hose around, but the best thing is I don't hear it at all. After having this a couple of months, it is performing as if it was new. Easy to clean and it looks sleek to this day. My cats took to it immediately. It's the perfect height for them and they will sit by it if the water is low. I forget about checking it because it is that quiet. That's my favorite part. My search has ended. Decent price, too. Excellent work, developer. Highly recommend.

This is a solid fountain that does everything I need it to. My cats really like drinking from it. It's very important to stay on top of changing out the filters regularly, or else it gets gross. The pump stopped working, but they replaced it free of charge, even though it'd been 1.5 years since I purchased it!
