I had a plastic water fountain for 4 years that was a headache to clean and I also read in many places that a water fountain should only be stainless steel. I absolutely love this fountain for my 2 kitties! I can't think of anything negative to say after having it 2.5 months. I will update if this changes. Maybe that it doesn't make an annoying sound when it's so low that it's not putting out water for them like my old one did, that would be great. So easy to clean, performs well, doesn't leak or overflow or anything. Also sleek and clean looking. I wish that the spouts weren't only just the 2 and had more fountains coming out the top because you have to angle them to point out towards where my kitties come to it but thats so minor. Love it!

I like that it’s stainless steel so easy to clean. It has a nice relaxing water-flow sound actually— fun bonus for humans. It also has a good way to see the water level without having to remove the top. Works just as described.

Fountain noise is a very faint trickle sound from dual spouts when room is otherwise silent and a person has really good hearing. When not using the dual spout attachment, the flow is not as gentle as our pets are used to when we used a different pet fountain that was built for drink-level flow only and without an addable spout attachment. The stainless seems to be good quality, assembling was quite simple and cleaning presents no issues (no small brush instrument supplied with ours but we keep one on hand.) We select to clean our pet fountain at no more than 1/2 the allotted time suggested by manufacturer...It seems to us that this makes requirement for an intensely detailed cleaning less often and most pumps will last for much longer periods. I do wish the lighting for water monitoring was more visual - From the floor where it sits we can only detect some low light when the room is dark. If it sat on a counter, perhaps the light serves more of its purpose but as for floor use, not so grand to keep water level easily monitored. Overall, it's a nice pet fountain and many will find it quite suitable for presenting their pet(s) with crystal clean water.
