I’m very proud of myself finally getting a good sprayer to save me from more injuries. Taking care of 200 + roses is a hectic job when it comes to disease control. I used a manual 2 gallon sprayer from other brand which I thought was pretty good, but soon after two uses my arms and neck gave in. Somehow the algorithm recommended power sprayers prompted me into research and found the Petrotool brand. Considered the price and size wise I thought HD3000 will be a good choice for me. I was right ! This sprayer is heavy because of the motor. Adding 3 gal of liquid is the limit I can handle. I need to refill once to cover every rose (in pots.) and a few other plants. There’s a power switch. When first on it makes a loud humming noise, it becomes quiet when you start to spray. Spraying is easy and the mist is even and fine, you can adjust the strength of spray using the rotary power nob. When it’s on the fullest power you can spray far and wide , super cool 😎. The harness is quite comfortable but because of the weight of the container, I have to set the whole thing on the table to “wear” it and set it down again back on the table when it’s done to avoid more injuries. It saves so much time and energy to pump and spray, free up my left arm so I can spray alternately with hands. I can say that I actually can spray my garden with joy. Btw, 100% organic gardening here 😇. The sprayer requires some easy assembling. Unfortunately the manual is not very helpful so I checked out youTube for helps. It also requires some priming, again the manual is definitely not helping. I followed the instructions to find it just waste of your battery power. All you need to do is fill the tank with 1 gallon of water and till to one side (if one side not working try the other side.) It works right away instead of what the manufacturer suggestion of 30 minutes 🤯. Clean the tank is not too hard because of the power. I recommend this product. Note: After a few uses, winter came so I left my sprayer in my working studio and forgot about it. When I picked it up again in May, the sprayer stopped while using only after a few minutes. I could not get it started whatsoever. I called the company hotline, "Anne" helped me went through the problem, ( thank you, Anne 😊) she figured the battery must be dead. I was very confused because it's new and used a few times only. Anne quickly sent me a new battery, free of charge. Turned out the battery was corroded 🙄... so we cleaned the plates then installed the new battery, it started working well again. It worked hard for the whole summer so far, now it's time for it's winter "dormancy " again, I hope all is well. I appreciate how this company stands for its products and offers excellent customer service 🫡 🤗.

This sprayer is amazing, and makes big jobs so much faster than using a hand-pump or other type of sprayer. It worked great for a long time, but then stopped taking a charge. I reached out to their customer service line, and Nathan was incredible and helped me diagnose that it is likely the battery and to get a new one shipped to my house. I will install the new battery when it arrives, but I expect that it will make the sprayer good as new.

I don't normally do reviews. I have two of these HD3000's. I haven't had them for a really long time, but in the past week I have put about 108 liters of glysophate mix through them. They are great sprayers. They don't have the pressure of the HD4000 (which I also have) but I like that because for my uses I don't need huge coverage most of the time as I am spraying invasive plants in a sensitive area. Also, the HD3000 is so much smaller and lighter than the HD4000, and three gallons is enough to carry for most jobs. I mix my chemicals in 2.5 gallon jugs so it works out great. I did have one issue with them though, and I wanted to mention it here. The screws that hold the back pad to the tank were loose from the factory on both sprayers. No biggie, I tightened them. When I went out to spray, the back pads had chemicals on them. When I checked it, I noticed that the screws I had tightened had poked through into the tank and the chemicals were leaking through those screw holes. I reached out to Petra Support and seriously had the entire issue resolved in less than five minutes. Thanks Christina!! Great products, great support.

After many issues and ordering this model and having it arrive defective, I must sat I am done. The attached picture shows how the item came out of the box. I did call customer support only to reach someone in another country who could not help at all. That person transferred me back what I assume to be a non-published number. Of course no answer. I think this company has a decent product, made in the USA but I am left completely disappointed. :( and still need a sprayer! Related Previous purchased item review: I bought this machine 2 years ago. I used is once to spray the outside of my barn with water based powder stain. It worked great during the first use. Fast forward 6 months or so, I needed to touch up some areas on the outside of the barn however the motor would no longer start. Petra sent me a motor, we replaced it and once again the sprayer worked great. Fast forward another 6 months or so, I now needed to water proof the outside of the barn. The sprayer glad been stored in the original box in our garage. This is when I found the hose going from the holding tank to the motor completely split due to the system design. There is no way for the hose to connect to the tank without a severe kink. And as a result of the kink the hose split wide open. I called cust svc and ordered a replacement hose at my cost. I got the hose, connected it up, all good. Then the weather was warm enough for water proof the barn. I charged the machine, filled the tank with the water based solution and the sprayer won’t work. As I walk over to the water spicket the motor starts working, then it stopped, and started agin so I filled the tank once again. I go to turn the sprayer on, it won’t start. I took it apart and found there was a short right where the inside wiring connects to the exterior charging plug. We were able to recconnect and use electrical tape tape on the connection. I filled the tank again and it stopped working. I called customer service. I am know out of warranty but hope they could provide a solution so I could fix the problem. That is when they started saying I used a solution that was not approved for the sprayer. But this time I explained to Scott the motor and the pump are fine but the wiring would not stay connected. Scott was to call me back. I wanted for three days, he finally called and of course I missed his call. At this point I am so fed up with the sprayer, I ended up trashing the entire system I had barely used and paid close to $400. But wait, there is more, I then when back and purchased a smaller model that had a different design for the hose connection. Took it out of the box last night, let it charge all night, went to spray and discovered the new machine would not hold a charge. I give up! This second sprayer is going back! This sprayer looked like it had been used, the cap keeper was broken right out of the box as seen in the attached photo.
