I've had the Petra HD 3000 sprayer for over 3 years as of this writing. I'm very happy with it even though there have been a few issues. I had to replace the sprayer wand after the first summer. Just plan on that cost as part of your purchase price. I think for such a good quality and thoughtful design, they should just offer that option as an upgrade. I also had to replace the pump. I probably didn't drain the unit as carefully as I should have. From then on, I add a bit of antifreeze before winter and shoot it through. The pump was fairly inexpensive and very easy to replace. I really like that I can service the sprayer. This year, I found that the clamp down nut for the hose to pump connect had failed. Not sure why since the sprayer was winterized. The hose does not have a strain relief clamp and I think that over time, pulling on the hose stressed it. The nut could certainly be a bit beefier. I will try to add something to provide strain relief when I replace the nut. About the nut: I could not match it with any plumbing thread available at a well-stocked hardware - not IP, not compression, not flare. It seems like it has a 1.5mm pitch. I contacted Petra and they very quickly found a couple of the nuts and are mailing them out to me! Thank you Anne and Chloe for wonderful customer service.

Purchased this sprayer back in April 2024, by far the best sprayer , always reliable with steady pressure makes for fast work without waiting for psi to keep building. Also there customer service is amazing within 2 min I spoke with Anne from customer service and she found out the problem and had a replacement sent out that day.

I bought the Petratool HD3000 two years ago It is an amazing sprayer making my yard work so much easier. Today my sprayer stopped working so I called PetraTools Customer Support. Anne was amazing. She was very prompt at returning my call. She suggested several things to try, which did not correct the problem. Anne then told me I needed a new pump and she helped me complete the paperwork to send me a replacement pump which should arrive in 3-5 business days. I am so appreciative of PetraTools standing by their truly great sprayer and for Anne’s help in getting me back to my spraying so quickly.

After many issues and ordering this model and having it arrive defective, I must sat I am done. The attached picture shows how the item came out of the box. I did call customer support only to reach someone in another country who could not help at all. That person transferred me back what I assume to be a non-published number. Of course no answer. I think this company has a decent product, made in the USA but I am left completely disappointed. :( and still need a sprayer! Related Previous purchased item review: I bought this machine 2 years ago. I used is once to spray the outside of my barn with water based powder stain. It worked great during the first use. Fast forward 6 months or so, I needed to touch up some areas on the outside of the barn however the motor would no longer start. Petra sent me a motor, we replaced it and once again the sprayer worked great. Fast forward another 6 months or so, I now needed to water proof the outside of the barn. The sprayer glad been stored in the original box in our garage. This is when I found the hose going from the holding tank to the motor completely split due to the system design. There is no way for the hose to connect to the tank without a severe kink. And as a result of the kink the hose split wide open. I called cust svc and ordered a replacement hose at my cost. I got the hose, connected it up, all good. Then the weather was warm enough for water proof the barn. I charged the machine, filled the tank with the water based solution and the sprayer won’t work. As I walk over to the water spicket the motor starts working, then it stopped, and started agin so I filled the tank once again. I go to turn the sprayer on, it won’t start. I took it apart and found there was a short right where the inside wiring connects to the exterior charging plug. We were able to recconnect and use electrical tape tape on the connection. I filled the tank again and it stopped working. I called customer service. I am know out of warranty but hope they could provide a solution so I could fix the problem. That is when they started saying I used a solution that was not approved for the sprayer. But this time I explained to Scott the motor and the pump are fine but the wiring would not stay connected. Scott was to call me back. I wanted for three days, he finally called and of course I missed his call. At this point I am so fed up with the sprayer, I ended up trashing the entire system I had barely used and paid close to $400. But wait, there is more, I then when back and purchased a smaller model that had a different design for the hose connection. Took it out of the box last night, let it charge all night, went to spray and discovered the new machine would not hold a charge. I give up! This second sprayer is going back! This sprayer looked like it had been used, the cap keeper was broken right out of the box as seen in the attached photo.

It is a great product for what I needed. However the one I purchased must have a defective battery! I used it last season May through September. Cleaned it per instructions and placed it in a heated cellar. Charged the battery before use this year. Got it all set to go and it maybe lasted 10 minutes ! Called their Customer Service Dept an actually got a real person within a few minutes. (SIERRA)?@nbsp very knowledgeable and professional, determined a new battery was needed and sent one out to me.

This is the perfect size for what I need. 3 gallons is perfect and not too heavy to put on. Quality is solid. Easy to setup. I did have an issue with the hose dripping at the swivel connection, so I called PetraTools support to ask a question about it. It was late evening and I got no answer, but within minutes I got a text from their support team apologizing for missing the call and asking how they could help. Chloe was great. I explained what I was seeing with the hose, sent her a picture of the hose and she immediately said she would send a replacement - no worries. Great support. Thanks.

This is a wonderful product. Being able to use it to spray down pretty much everything is great. I've saved a lot knowing that I have this sprayer gives me the satisfaction of doing it myself. Recently i had a leak in the holes. After contacting Petra Tools the situation was quickly rectified by Christina [ Customer Service ]. Christina was in constant communications and her knowledge and Professionalism is definitely 5 star.
