This little water fountain is great. It is black and looks great with the blue light inside. The light makes the water line very easy to see and know when you need to add more. Easy to assemble, the lid just sits on the bowl. The only noise is from the water falling itself, even then it is super quiet. Go get one.

My boy loves his water foundations. He will drink out of anything typically like toilets, cups, and dogs bowls, but he drinks really well from pet water foundation. His old one bit the dust and we had to get immediately because he was freaking out that his was suddenly gone. We got this the same day and it was so easy to put together. Once we got it filled and started, he finally calmed down and drank away. Thank goodness we got it the same day because he had refused to drink out of a regular bowl that day. I love how I can monitor how full or empty the bowl is. Cleaning is so much easier than the last one we had, including refilling! It also takes up way less space and hold more water. I am also happy about how quiet it is! This boy is so happy and so am I!

This is probably the 5th or 6th brand or type of fountain I've bought and it's by far the easiest to clean. Also the quietest. They also supply multiple filter replacements versus just one. Great product and cost is right on target.

LIKES: This fountain is quiet. Even when it runs out of water, it does not make that awful grating sound. It's easy to clean and I found the design to be nice and unobtrusive. It isn't a pain to fill the container without taking the lid off, which is useful when the fountain is far away from a sink. Overall a great fountain. CONS: Better directions would be nice. It took me 3 days to figure out that the fountain spout should attach tightly to both the lid and the pump, so that the pump is lifted out of the water with the lid. The cat fountains I've used in the past did not do this, so I had a water mess for days, on the floor, thanks to my cat being destructive. She literally would pull the lid and fountain spout off and spill water everywhere. Not sure if she thought it was a toy. But once I got it tightened, she has left it alone and no more water on the floor. I would ask that the light change colors when empty or maybe a chime (not the grating sound most have) when near empty/empty. The blue light isn't very bright and it is hard to tell when it's getting low.

I am not one to typically write reviews on products, but this one. THIS ONE. The entire reason I purchased this is because of bad weather. Hang on, I'll explain. Super freezing temperatures can freeze pipes, so you leave the water at a little dribble overnight to help ease that. Over the holidays and in to January, when this was happening, my cat began to jump up on the counter and lap from the faucet while I did my evening stuff in the bathroom. I realized she really enjoyed having the running water, and I began to think about finding a water dish or fountain that would replicate that. Our cat is extremely skittish thanks to abuse from former owners, so I knew the machine would have to be virtually silent for her to trust it. All of the other reviews on this are correct: this thing is SO quiet, you can barely hear it over the other ambient noise of a house or room. I love only having to fill this thing 1x a week, I love that it's fresh water and filtered, I love how quiet it is and I even enjoy the subtle blue light it eminates in a dark room. Our cat is drinking more water now and while she still enjoys checking on me in the evening, she really seems to enjoy drinking her water out of this. There's also less mess overall. This is a fantastic, reasonably priced item for any pet parent on the fence about it. Do it!

This fountain is quiet and works well and looks nice too and my cat absolutely LOVED it! I say loved because I had to take it away. It was too easy for him to take the top off and pull the motor out. After a few times I got scared he was going to electrocute himself. If this had the ability to clip the lid on or something I would give it full 5 stars. Also, it’s easy to put together but the directions are super confusing and unclear.
