  • Works surprisingly well
Color: 30 Pcs
My tire picked up a nail about 1/8" in diameter - the body of the nail actually sealed the hole pretty well and I only had to air up the tire every couple weeks, but it was still a little annoying. I picked up these screw plugs as they seemed easier to use than a traditional string plug, although I was a little skeptical that they'd work as well. I pushed the body of the nail into the tire, then screwed one of these in - it seemed like it still leaked a little overnight, so I sized up to a larger plug the next morning. The install, uninstall and reinstall were all very easy and I was pleased to see zero air leakage after several weeks of being in the tire. Each of these kits comes with individually packaged plugs, so they're easy to separate out into your emergency roadside kit if you have multiple cars that you're taking care of. ... show more

  • These held up to 100 MPH for me
Color: 30 Pcs
I bought a set of these when I knew I had a slow leak due to a very fine nail being embedded in my tire. The car was practically new, I had maybe 3000 miles on it, and I intended this as a temporary fix until I could get to the dealer for a permanent inside patch. You know what happens with "temporary" repairs. I have put another 20,000 miles on the tire, including several trips across SW Florida's Alligator Alley at sustained speeds of 90 MPH and spurts up to 110. The dealer rotated the tires at about 10,000 miles and again at 20,000 without noticing the repair. These would be useless for anything but a clean round hole, but for the type of puncture I had, they were a perfect and very, very easy repair. I now carry a bag of these and a can of fix-a-flat at all times. ... show more

  • Saved Me at a Roadside Emergency. Needs to Include a Bottle of Adhesive & a #1 Phillips Screwdriver
Color: 60 Pcs
The plug works as advertised. I recently picked up a nail in one of my pickup truck tires which promptly went flat on the side of a busy freeway. I jacked up the tire, put a mini compressor on it, found the puncture, and screwed in the plug. The tire still had an occasional bubble so I removed the plug and used a new one that I also coated with heavy duty black rubber adhesive that I had also purchased separately. When I screwed the plug in this time it sealed instantly. This is the reason I took a star off as the company really needs to include a bottle of adhsive in their kit. One other item, it takes a #1 Philips Head Screwdriver to screw the plugs in and the kit does not include one. I always carry travel tools so it wasnt an issue for me, but if you don't travel with tools then make sure to have a good screwdriver in your roadside emergency kit. You will also need a battery powered mini compressor to fill the repaired tire. ... show more

  • Worked like a charm.
Color: 30 Pcs
I used one to fix a screw hole in the tread of my daughter's tire. It's been holding for six months now. I keep them in all my cars and have given several of the extras to friends.

  • Looks as if it will work.
Color: 60 Pcs
I ordered these because it looked like a feasible product and easier to use than the string patch. I haven't had a need yet. The item is as described.

I hope these work when the time comes. The idea is good. A fast patch or temp patch to get you home. So I put some in the car, truck, E bike box. and hope I never have to use one.
