Ordered these as I was quite tired of things in the shop landing on my feet. Was going to buy a pair from the Big Box store with the initial W, but all they carried were the wide versions, which after trying them on, was far too big. Decided to take a chance on these as they looked the right height for good support, and not too heavy. Was surprised when I received them actually how stout and heavy they are. They are very well constructed with good quality leather and other materials, and the toe box is not cramped at all, compared to other boots that I have worn over the years. The sole is quite thick and not flimsy at all. For as heavy as they feel in hand, once on, they are very comfortable. It may take a bit of time to get used to the weight, but then, I've been used to wearing only sneakers for the past I don't know how long. Fortunately (?) I have not tested the toe protection thus far, but given the rest of the boot, I have no doubt that my feet will be very well protected. These are stated to be waterproof as well, but have not tested that aspect to this point. However, from overall inspection, the materials used and the construction would lend itself to very well be waterproof. Time will tell on that facet. Very durable a bit expensive but they are steel toe and great material as mentioned. Heavy my son says but that’s because he’s never worked. So i got these for him to work in summer. Bought size wide 10 ‘try before you buy’. Glad I did. 10 felt too long so ordered the wide 9.5, perfect. Usually I’m a 10. These run a little long so take that into consideration. I always put Timberland anti fatigue insoles in my boots. These insoles are super comfortable and also very thick. Some boots they won’t work with but these boots work well with them. 1-small con though. The 4 quick lace hooks aren’t raised enough or angled right or something. Hard to catch them with the lace when tying shoes quickly. I’m only on day 1. So far I love these boots ... show more

These boots were put to use immediately and I can say they are comfortable, I have foot issues and these boots give me durability throughout my day and help me with my job. I would recommend these boots to anyone looking for a decent priced pair of boots because these ones do it for me.
