Initially these hurt my big toe. It felt like the top of my toenail was hitting the steel toe, but seemed impossible. I started wearing them for just a few hours a day and within a week they were perfectly comfortable. the grip with these boots is unreal. even on frozen diamond plate or smooth concrete in a walk in freezer they just grip.
