I had the chance to try out this Cat Eye Nail Magnet Set over the last week for my teen's homecoming. It includes both a Y-shape magnet and a 3-in-1 detachable heart magnet, and it's marketed as a professional tool for creating magnetic cat eye effects. Pros: Magnetic Strength: Both magnets are surprisingly strong. I was able to create crisp cat eye patterns with ease, even on thicker layers of gel polish. Versatility: The 3-in-1 detachable design is a great idea. It allows for different patterns and effects without needing multiple tools. Ease of Use: The handles are lightweight and comfortable to hold, and the magnet reacts quickly with most magnetic gel polishes so it's best to go slow if you are new to it as we were. Design Variety: With some practice, I could create lines, waves, and heart shapes depending on the angle and magnet used, which was easier than expected but took some time to get the hang of it. Cons: Learning Curve: Beginners might need a bit of practice to get the desired look. The heart shape especially requires good positioning.     • Works fairly well but “heart” is kind of a blob
This review is for the HGEKLIZV cat eye magnet set. The regular/typical magnets in this set worked well, but I really was most interested in the heart shape and I couldn’t get it to make a nice heart at all. All the hearts, no matter how slow I approached the nail or how close or far I got, turned out more like blobs. They are easy to hold and work on the nails. I like that you have different options by taking the top off the implements to reveal what’s underneath. These are compact and don’t take up much room in my kit.
